Nice theory but i disagree. Sasori was a human who turned his body completely to puppet(except the core). But Kakuzu was a human who used the jiongo technique to take other hearts in order to survive. He didn't modify his body at all on the contrary of Sasori and since he was a human from the start, he still has brain, and thus not completely immune to genjutsu. Though you can argue that since his hearts could move on their own, they could act accordingly to let Kakuzu break free from genjutsu by implementing chakra on him and thus disturbing his chakra flow

Jiongu could be classified as modification to one's body; after all it is a Kinjutsu for a reason. We've currently got no proof of Kakuzu have a brain, or not, so ultimately there's a 50/50 chance that he does, or doesn't ultimately. However, this still doesn't dispute his capabilities of getting out of Genjutsu correct?

I dont know, how can dead people hear it? Aside sound there are other genjutsus.
Kakuzu surely falls under it, doesnt matter if mask can brake it later.

Good thread but I disagree, how is it that the 6 Paths of Pain, dead corpses used for combat, are able to be caught in Genjutsu. If a dead man is caught in Genjutsu then I am sure one such as Kakuzu can be caught in Genjutsu. I believe that he has a better chance at countering it since those hearts can disturb his chakra and possibly wake him from the Genjutsu being cast on him.

Edo tensei are revived in their human form body, reason why Sasori came back in his human form. Human forms have brain. So Kakuzu being composed of threads means it's his human body that look like that. So i don't believe Kakuzu is an exception

Whether Kakuzu has a brain or not is beyond me but his hearts can't break him out of genjutsu. You need someone elses chakra to disturb your chakra system to break you out. Kakuzu can't use his own chakra to break him out of a genjutsu.
