Kakuzu is one of the most versatile characters in the show. He doesnt lack in anything. He will never really encounter a mismatch unless the level is too far apart.

I was always of the opinion he was the 4th strongest akatsuki.

I see what you mean. The only thing that's a real issue is the endless chakra kisame has and the his special ability to absorb chakra and stamina on contact. It's a matter of who will go done first. I'm yet to see kakazu's chakra limit as well.



Zestu is an entity, which consist of both black, white, and spiral zetsu.
The DB states the white zetsu has wooden golem while spiral zetsu has wood buddah.
The whole ideal about it is overcoming anybody with numbers.

The third raikage himself was killed by a thousand fodders and Tobirama died to 20 bounty hunters. Theoretically, he will be on top of the akatsuki list if we go by that measure. I'm not sure what zetsu's place will be with his army in my akatsuki list.

Pretty insightful regarding the Zetsu context, I literally don't know shit about the dude/thing lol. But yeah, I believe Kisame, and Kakuzu are around the same chakra reserves except Kisame has the slight edge. Kakuzu imo is a chakra monster as well carrying 5 hearts, perfecting their natures etc.

Didn't Kakuzu's Gian actually beat out Raikiri? Making it greater than Raikiri? All of Kakuzu's "B-Ranks" are actually S+ Ranks which shows how perfect his chakra control is :Sigar: I missed the elemental combinations because I was tired asf fam :lol, and definitely making a V2 of this thread, to cover everything.

Yea it would have been nice to see it to see it in War Arc. A window Kishimoto completely missed. We could always give it to Kakuzu in vs thread stipulations

Dude, you can still go back and read the comments on the forums when Naruto defeated him with a clone feint, people were PISSED. Someone with all his years of experience and the fact that he fought the first and lived to tell the tell should tell you how strong he was.

True, but the way it was framed in the story made it sound like he was strong enough to not get killed you gotta remember this was wayyyy before we knew how broken Hashirama was, so him survivng was considered impressive that's why people were man about his lackluster defeat.
