I'm not really sure if any of you know/use dreamweaver cs4/cs5 but ill post my question anyway.

Does anyone here know of any way that I can transfer "CSS rules" from one version to another version of dreamweaver ( in separate computers of course). Thank you, any help would be gladly welcomed.

I use dreamweaver all of the time and I know what you are talking about. However I do not use the automated CSS features of Dreamweaver. I use it to keep it organized. I will help if I can

Do you mean you set custom rules for Dreamweaver 4 and are moving to dreamweaver 5? Or are you moving CSS between sites/versions?

Ok here goes, I have created some CSS rules on dreamweaver cs4 for something that i'm working on, as I dont have that much time to finish it I want to take it home, and so I took the whole site folder home but once I tried to open it with dreamweaver cs5, I noticed that the CSS rules were missing (same thing happened using another computer using dw cs4), so what Im wondering is... Is there a way that I can copy those CSS rules along with the files that Im working with.

This might help

If your referring to an external css file then you just need to maintain the files structure so links don't get broken. Also try using design mode and selecting the element and checking its properties using the properties inspector. Your rules should auto show up because it should be reading the applied styles of each element. As good practice only use external css style sheets. I can't give you a definite answer because I don't fully know whats going on.
