If Tsunade - one of the strongest girls in Naruto universe - is called "weak" by Madara, there might be something we are missing.

Madara's true dream is an illusion?! Recognition coming from people under the effect of genjutsu doesn't fit with Madara's words, it means nothing to someone like him! Otherwise, he would be happy enough with Zetsus licking him.

Madara knows what the Holy Tree does to people. It kills.

Even so, Madara casted his genjutsu on the moon, even after he says that he felt into utter despair when he discovered the true behind POWER.

Madara just doesn't care to kill people to get where he wants to. He's no good, but he's like Danzo, if the theory end up being right.


But now that you said it, he didn't kill any important person until now Fodders died to a meteor, but that was all, I believe.
