We have seen Jack (a member of Kaido's crew) approaching Navy's ship taking Doflamingo to the Impel Down.
And after witnessing the massive destruction of the Mink Tribe's country, I would say that Doflamingo will be saved by Jack only to get killed by Kaido as punishment (once taken to Kaido)
But look here...
Drake seems to be talking about some "Old man" who was killed by Doflamingo. The news seem to be new for him as if he just got to hear the name of the person who killed the Old man.
Now this old man seems to be someone close to Drake maybe his Pirate Father or someone dearly to him. (A relation like Whitebeard and Ace kind of)
Drake might be under the assumption that Kaido was the one who killed his Old man and hence Drake decided to join Kaido's crew to take revenge on him.
Later in the page, after reading the news of Luffy-Law beating Doflamingo, Drake just let it go and says it's just a bitter past now.
What if Drake encounters Doflamingo thrown at Kaido's feet by Jack?
Drake will ask Kaido to let him kill Doflamingo.
Though I think that will happen offscreen. We might only get to see Drake finishing off Doflamingo.
