Why didn't the Dragons team up currently at 414 catching up why didn't the Dragons im guessing 5 or 6 of them didn't team up and Rape Acnologia it struggled a tad with Igneel who managed too rip an Arm off
I don't like the way gray is heading he seems Power Crazy with that new PowerUp and disrupted the Balance of Power Gajeel needs DF too sit FanBois of Grey down
But that seems so simple and the Dragons were failures of teaching them Good DragonSlayer they have failed to bring down one Dragon yet humans in the past did
The dragons were busy destroying all the Faces and none of them was at their peak.
I assume you haven't read all the chapters yet to see how Gray ends up and Gajeel has Iron Shadow Mode and can go all steel too.
Acnologia is the most powerful dragon in existence, he is far above the average dragon. If just dragon slaying magic would do the trick, he would have died centuries ago when humanity just learned the magic. Then there is also the manner of how they fought dragons centuries ago, which we know nothing about. If all the dragon slayers would have ganged up one one dragon when Future Rogue summoned them, it's possible they would have been able to beat that one and that might have been how they did it in the past. None of the current dragon slayers have much experience either in slaying dragon.
Gajeel is currently stronger than bith erza and gray. They really can't touch him while being in shadow mode, only another shadow user can probably drag him out

I absolutely loath vs threads, but assuming that Gajeel is stronger than Erza and Gray based simply on him being able to turn into shadows is wrong. Gajeel himself has proven that, he intercepted Rogue's attack during the double dragon slayers fight when he tried to attack him even before he had shadow powers. How? Because you need to materialize again to attack. So becoming a shadow is a defensive tech.
What you pretty much said was that Gajeel is stronger than Erza and Gray because he can run away safely. If he wants to win, he has to materialize again.
