Forget watching the anime, read the manga. It's on just about any popular manga streaming website, so it's easy to find.

The DB series as a whole has some of the worst filler in history, though the anime is worth watching from the start of DB through the end of the Frieza saga. I wouldn't read or watch past the Frieza Saga, as it completely ruined DB(well, Z anyway) for me. It's pretty much trash after that.

and lol, Don't even bother with GT.
