Dragonball Xenoverse 2 Announced?

Bandai Namco Europe had trademarked the name Xenoverse on December 29 , 2015 of last year as the trademark status is application under examination, so does that mean we are getting a Xenoverse 2?:ilu:

It just wasn't that good of a game. Character creation was shallow, move list was shallow. It seemed like it was put out just to be put out

To each his own, I personally remember really liking Ultimate Battle 22 but that was PS1 so it's not fair to compare it to games of today plus I was a bit younger so I'm sure the fact that I was big into DBZ at the time as opposed to now where I find it neat played a role as well. The character selection on stuff like this is big for me because of the limited variation so having a big cast always scores points for me. I understand if people dislike the 2d fighters of old nowadays though. Is there a DBZ game with a better roster?

You mean bigger roster than Battle 22? Xenoverse did.

Tenkaichi 3 had like 160 characters so that one by far has the most. It was my favourite prior to xenoverse, but Xenoverse when I play it just feels like you are in the dbz verse, just the way you maneuver around in battles is really true to the show.

Just wasn't for me, as far as anime games go I think the DBZ titles are probably at the bottom of my list. I liked the 2 Naruto games for 360 prior to ultimate ninja storm better than most of the new ones. OP games are my top right now but I love Dynasty Warriors but it can be boring for some. The Bleach games for PS2 looked a lot like that style too though I haven't played them yet.

If they bring back Beam Clashes and physical clashes where you actually have to do something in order to win it instead of it being automatic, I would be happy

I'd like Raging Blast 3. imo the gameplay for that game was good and they really did a good job at differentiating characters. Just give it a big roster like with BT3 and it's golden plus in-depth character creator.

Storm's fun and it was great the first 2, 3rd got a bit old, haven't tried 4 but I can't imagine I'll pick it up before it drops to $20. I was talking about Naruto Broken Bond and Rise of Ninja. The way you had to perform the jutsu in that was a lot neater imo and the story mode was actually a story mode and it had free world exploration it was a lot of fun.

When I saw that Xenoverse was coming out, RB3 was my first guess at what it would be. Xenoverse was a major let down for me compared to RB2. But nothing will ever be as bad as Ultimate Tenkaichi

Gonna create a thread on this matter. Imo Xenoverse is a 6/10 and would be a 5 if not for the story and graphics/sound. We dont need a 2. We need people who actually know how to do the series justice and aren't trying to hold back punches so that they can use them in their next confirmed release. Or either its a budget issue which it shouldn't be.
