Regarding the Dragonball Super is illogical thread and the Revival of F arc.
It is NOT illogical.
Lets go over some points.
Frieza's henchmen and the Z fighters their power (excluding Goku and Vegeta).
People call the z fighters to weak and the henchmen to strong, which would be illogical.
Well its not illogical.
Frieza's henchmen can have trained all these years as well, and thus, have grown in power, just as others can have grown through training and fighting.
Besides, they are not on the lvl of Piccolo, Krillin etc. because the z fighters were fighting like ~150 of them each and the z fighters were holding their own.
Krillin hasnt been training for a long while, same for Gohan, Roshi is retired and even though this is the case, they were all taking about ~150 of Frieza's henchmen each.
Frieza said that Gohan could easily take out the whole army on his own if he really gave his all, so the henchemen werent made to strong.
Piccolo is the only one I expect to have been training a bit over the years.
Although its not all so clear how much he has trained and if he has trained.
Still he took out ~150 fairly easily. They couldnt even hold the weight of his weighted clothes.
Frieza his power being illogical.
Frieza being as strong as he is, is not illogical either.
Goku trained in other world, when he was dead. He grew in power over there (reached ssj3).
Why wouldnt Frieza be able to gain power while dead?
Than you can add up the 4 months of training while being alive and his evolution to gold form, which could just as well be something similar to Super Saiyan Blue.
Therefore he had the power to challenge Goku in Super Saiyan Blue.
Also we dont know how much Frieza can increase in power if he trained and what training he did. Maybe his family has trouble finding motivation for training, due to never really having needed it.
Not weird at all for him to be stronger than Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Tien and Roshi in Frieza his first form.
When Frieza died, they were all weaker than Frieza first form except Piccolo and Gohan (although both were weaker than that form at first, when Frieza started the fight vs Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan).
However Gohan and Piccolo gained power to surpass the first form during that battle.
Both gained massive upgrades around than and were training intensively at that time
(Gohan upgrades from Guru before battle and saiyan power increase through fighting + from nearly dying and being healed by Dende
and Piccolo from training with King Kai and sync with Nail).
It is not weird at all to fall behind Frieza his first form throughout time.
