Dragonball Super Episode 123 "BODY AND SOUL, FULL POWER RELEASE! GOKU AND VEGETA!!"

Good episode.

However, what exactly is Vegeta's power now? His blue aura is now a big darker.

But there's nothing distinct about it.

Plus, it once again HAS TO include Goku "helping out" against Jiren. Zzz

I swear that Goku is the John Cena / Roman Reigns of DragonBall Super. #LOLGokuWins



But aside from that in this episode, I liked that it referenced Cabbo and Vegeta's promise to resurrect him and his universe with the Super Dragon Balls.



Can't wait for the next episode.

That "reference" for vegeta, out of all the things going on and at stake, was so out of his character.

His motivation should have been HIS PLANET "earth" and HIS family. That should of been the primary motivation.

Yes, the new form seems to not do much of anything.And now both of them are super powered, but Jiren still seems to be able to handle the two of them.Kind of a waste.

This Goku vs Jiren fight was soooo better than 109 Goku’s strategy was impressive.
Looking forward to the continuation of their fight. I hope the other fights get as much effort put into them. Gohan & Dyspo might drop out next episode.

Vegeta got a shallow power up.The MTV choice awards of power ups a vague "He contains more power right now in his blue form than he previously did" It has to be the laziest excuse ever.Why didn't they give him Ultra Instinct "Attack Mode" yet ?

I read around and according to this:

In an interview featured in Daizenshuu 2, the creator notes that Vegeta is one of his least favorite Dragon Ball characters, but that "he was extremely helpful to have around."

It's in the title. Body and Soul, Goku and Vegeta. These are the limits that they broke. Vegeta's bue beyond increased his Ki based to compete with Goku's ultra omen. Think of Vegeta right now being stronger than Kefla

The animation in the episode prior to that one was way bette is this one, Vegeta pumped me up so much at the end of this, how can you hate your own creation? Akira is definitely the dumbest Mangaka I ever seen in all my years.

Anywyas, so I'm guessing 17 will be taking on Toppo alone? I'm looking forward to that fight and also interesting to see How Frieza and Gohan do together.

I agree, The whole connection he has to cabba seems really forced.

First is was toppo looking down on vegeta when comparing him to goku, Then Vegeta even said to jiren that he seemed stronger/faster then he was fighting goku, The motivation of his Family/new born and obviously not having everyone seeing him as 2nd best to goku which has been the theme of this tournament so far would've made a better moment for vegeta.

This guy is the only one to understand what happened in the 123 episode..
Like you said, it’s in the title. Not only was vegeta able to break his limits but Goku as well. Meaning when Goku went Kaioken, it’s way beyond Kaioken 20. My guess would be it’s between 80-100 times Kaioken. Making Vegeta transformation all that much more powerful.. putting him close to kefla in power.

It kills me when ppl say why isn't vegeta fighting for his family.. Like what? let me break this down for some of you guys..

1.) Bulma even though she is his wife, and trunks is his kid. They are not there
2.) They are not FULL saiyans. Meaning he has a connection with cabba them that his family don't. Not saying its stronger but lets break it down

Point 1.) If bulma, trunks or god forbid his new child was to even be hurt or vanished during this tourney.. Im sure we would see a mode that FAR surpasses what he can do now.. Lol SS2 Angry vegeta was likely a little less than SSG since Angry SS2 Vegeta >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Goku SSj3.. His family isn't there so having DIRECT motivation isn't there..

Point 2.) The saiyans are there. He has a connection to cabba since he is the first full blood saiyan he seen in awhile. That's also his pupil. He is a prince and very honorable. Not only do he feel its his duty to protect another saiyan planet since technically hes the king of saiyans in universe 7 since his father died, but it upsets him that another planet full of saiyans.. HIS ppl were wiped out. Him training is a result of his power for his family.. something unforeseen was saiyans being wiped out. His pupil. So no.. its very understandable that the reason his power reached new heights is cause of cabba them. His family is safe in the hands of trunks and gotenks lol.. but cabba is dead.

He created a character that he somehow resents.He has a personal issue...seriously.

And yes, he is a great help to the DB franchise. He gave it more flavor.
