I am so hyped for this game.
If you havent heard about it yet, please google or YouTube it and check it out.
Its a 2.5d (2d with 3d elements) fighting game (3v3 tag) of the dragonball series with a great roster so far.
It is from Arc System Works, who has experience with great fighting games (f.e. Guilty gear).
Dragonball fighter z looks to become a competitive fighting game that looks great too and
has attention to detail. F.e. attacks from characters being in stances like how it was done in the series and poses and lines as how it was done in the series.
They really capture the series well and do it justice.
There is no real flying, but you can do enough stuff in the air and have dashes and air follow up dash animation that even the flying element looks represented, while not destroying competitiveness or balance with real flying.
Roster so far.
Goku ssj (superpower to ssj3).
Goku ssjblue (including kaioken super).
Vegeta ssj.
Vegeta ssjblue.
Future Trunks.
Cell games Gohan ssj2.
Adult Gohan elder kai unlock/Mystic Gohan.
Gotenks ssj3.
Nappa (can use saibaman).
Frieza (can transform to Golden Frieza).
Cell.
Fat Buu.
Kid Buu.
Captain Ginyu (Ginyuforce members assist).
Android 18 (android 17 assist).
Android 16.
Piccolo.
Krillin.
Tien (Chiaotzu assist).
Yamcha.
If I have forgotten someone, please correct me.
It is 1vs1 with 3vs3 tag.
As in 1 player who can tag with 3 characters, vs another player who can tag with 3 characters.
Will we see 2vs2?
However , I am wondering,
do you think we will see 2vs2 with 3vs3 tag or 2vs2 with 2vs2 tag or something like that?
Or will that be too difficult to implement due to 2 different human players having to form a combo when tagging?
Are you looking forward too it?
Anyone else feeling hyped about it?
I grew up as a kid in a time when fighting games were seen a lot more often than they are nowadays
and I have always felt a little extra for fighting games than a different genre.
Especially the 2d variant.
Growing up with the dragonball series and fighting games, for me this Dragonball fighter z is nostalgia overload over 9000
Release.
You can expect it to release around the beginning of 2018.
