Buu saga and cell saga. I love both. It's funny, because I started watching dbz(I had watched db) in the buu saga, because it was what was on in the TV.

Indeed. I loved the fact that it actually had character development and not just random character power-ups.

Oh, yes. Definitely. Plus, towards the end-- particularly, in the fight with King Piccolo --you were truly rooting for Goku; unlike DBZ, where you probably knew that Goku is going to save the day. I can't really explain it... but in the original series, Goku felt like an underdog sometimes, which was great in my opinion.

Did you enjoy the King Piccolo arc? For some reason that's always been my favorite. It gave the world a sense of danger with all the deaths, then Goku came out of nowhere and kicked his ass. lol

Yeah just all the deaths made it good and dramatic, then everyone thought he was dead with Tien(lol) having to beat Piccolo.

Yea, like in DB it was like ooo Krillins strong enough, he could catch up. In DBZ it was like "oh dear, just a human fighting the bad guy? Shits not gonna go well till an alien arrives!"

I prefer Dragonball, it had more of a coherent story than, Goku beats the next bad guy that attacks Earth or his friends. King Piccolo is my favourite arc, then the Cell arc of DBZ

Mine would be the King Piccolo arc, and the Frieza Saga/arc. What is your fave?

King piccolo was interesting, DB was more of a thriller than DBZ. In DBZ i prefer cell saga, i loved when 19 beat goku, also when 18 and 17 beat the Z fighters
