Why do they think ki blast= physical strength? I remember them struggling with a metal door in android saga and had to use a ki blast? Goku is weaker than Luffy by manga feats and maybe Sage Mode Naruto.

In physical strength you say? Sage mode uses nature chakra, so if ki isn't considered physical strength, neither can chakra be considered physical strength. And you are telling me that a giant metal door couldn't be opened? Well, Luffy has to use his elephant gattling to be able to chop some wooden planks.
