From what we have seen the Dragon Slayers seem too be on a higher level than the God slayers and in the battles we have seen between them the Dragon Slayers have been portrayed stronger such as Natsu defeating Zancrow and Laxus looking down on Orga's abilities but nearly shit himself when Jura appeared plus Orga got one shotted by Jura but Laxus defeated Jura and also Wendy and Cheria's draw IMO Wendy deserved to win that fight. But to sum it up out of all the God Slayer's we have seen they aren't stronger than the Dragon Slayers.

Everyone accepts the fact that Laxus, a Second Generation Dragon Slayer can take on two First Generation Dragon Slayers like Natsu and Gajeel, and handle them pretty well.

Yet somehow, Natsu, a First Gen. Dragon Slayer, is able to beat both Sting and Rogue at the same time, who were both Third Generation Dragon Slayers with Dragon Force activated AND using a Unison Raid. This makes absolutely no sense.

Basically, 1st Gen Dragon Slayers are overpowered as shit.

No, I understand that. But if plot armor is going to completely nullify the established order of power, then it's kind of pointless to talk about what generation of Dragon Slayer is better, or if they're better than God Slayers.

ATM Natsu isnt that far off from Laxus, hes grown since their fight together and also he has second origin working in his favor.

Godslayers are pretty weak. Natsu (dragonslayer) survives Zeref's death magic, but zancrow is killed immediately.

The only reason natsu survived zeref's attack was because of the scarf igneel gave him.. probably to protect him from when zeref appears maybe.. (Just a theory)
Zancorw died because he and nothing to protect him and he was way to close to zeref.

Also zancrow had to die either ways he wasn't needed in the manga.

Dragon Slayers are stronger.

Laxus without dragon slayer lacrima is genuinly stronger than natsu and gajeel. with it just another level. it has nothing to do with dragon slayers. Natsu and Gajeel are stronger than sting and rogue not becasue of them being 1st gen or anything like that just simply becasue they have higher powers than them especially since natsu now has his second origin and you can see from erzas fight that it makes a big difference.

Thats what I like about fairy tail... not one character is stronger than everyone else. well besides Gildarts who took on acnologia.
