Well one of the universal abilities that are given to dragons is that their skin is incredibly durable. With other words he could protect himself against almost any type of logia.
He probably will be albe to breath something, though no idea what xd
Combine it with that he has probably some skill over Haki and you've got a menacing foe O_O
i personaly doubt he hes zoan-type, my thought after sean

It's always possible that he's a dragon that can make storms
And normal zoan-types aren't that strong, however the mythological are, they are even more rarer than logia-types.
Marco was a match for Kizaru, however he got distracted.
And no idea why Smoker stopped.

theory 1: smoker is a friend of Dragon
theory 2: smoker knows about Dragons abilitys: ( wind>smoke )
It goes w/o saying. Weather/Wind logia type seems the most likely ability with it hinted at Loguetown and Ivankov commenting how the wind moved in direction that Dragon desired.
Smokers probably knew enough of Dragon's power/reputation to realize that he was out of his depth. Dragon's the most wanted criminal and going up against him alone you need Luffy's kind of irrational thinking.

i don't want dragons ablities to just be limited to wind if he was mythical dragon zoan then all he has to do is just flap his wings to create a gush of wind

well seems to me that he's a logia weather type cuz i think that he was the one who used the lightning to save luffi(adding that to the cyclone and rain....)...well thats just my theories
