[Discussion] Dragon Ball's Messed Up Timeline

Age 778-Dragonballs are used in Battle of Gods.
Age 778-Frieza is revived using the Dragonballs.
It should be Age 779 due to the one year between.
Universe 6 takes place a year after Frieza, Age 780, which puts it at the year Bulla is born.

Here's the official timeline they released in Japan, but it's so messed up. They're using filler from the anime and movies 1-13 that are connected to the anime filler. Dragon Ball Super is like the X Men timeline before Days of Future's past, so damn con-diluted that there's hardly any continuity.

Dragon ball is so basic that you can't enjoy it if you go that deep into it. Just enjoy it. This series are so special because they're simple and they have that thing that makes you think i'm still watching the same show of my childhood.

I know, but at the same time it's kinda hard to ignore what's going on too though. If they're going to retcon the ending then at least have the balls to make it obvious. The author himself hasn't been pleased with the direction the anime is taking.

Really its more about the order of things. The amount of time between them isn't as important. there are some SOFT inconsistencies but no HARD plot holes
