So I recently came across a thread saying that there may be an Xenoverse 2 and it got me thinking on how much of a letdown that Xenoverse was. Not that I hate Xenoverse but it just wasn't as good as it needs to be at this point in the Franchises life span. But before I continue this is what I score the games I have played so that you know I know I'm talking from somewhat of a decent DBZ experience.

Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout - 1/10

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai - 4/10

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 - 5/10

Dragon Ball Z Sagas - Deez Nutz/10

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 - 9/10

Best time I have ever had playing a Dragon Ball game. Oh man how I wish I still had my original Ps2 copy because I don't need the HD version to enjoy this masterpiece of a fighting game. This shows it's possible to go from doing average in an area to just excelling in damn near every area. Hell they have Trunks in his badass SS2 form!! Xenoverse is centered around Trunks yet they don't even have it!!! WTF IS UP WITH THE DEVS MAN!!??? Oh yea they need a reason to make Xenoverse 2 for those who can't stand not having every single character in the series to the point of paying 60 dollars in advance to get the next game in the franchise. Smh yall are part of the problem.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi - 5/10

Why such a low score? Took everything that was good and decided to make it meh. This game wasn't needed. Period. Plus the flying around was so damn stiff and clunky. Exactly what we DONT need in a DBZ game.


Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 - 5.1/10
Didn't play this one much but reviewers say they fixed the camera which is a plus.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 - 7/10 ​

The one I have played the most of out of all the Dragon Ball Z games. Yea it was the same story over again but it was fun to play and wasn't annoying in any fashion unlike Xenoverse.

Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast - 4/10 ​

I think this is when they started doing those damn blob ass characters models. GOOD GOD these graphics suck. I'm sorry but these kind of graphics just don't fit the anime. Or anything to be honest. They do the same thing with One Piece games but I'll speak on the graphics later...

Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast 2 - 5/10 ​

*sigh* So much ugly. Gameplay is just trying too hard to be flashy and the price on this game makes me laugh. Shit is still 30 bucks HAHAHAHA Not in a million years will I buy this game again. Sold it for 40 and didn't look back. Though I will applaud them for the amount of characters. Thats what this Franchise should be known for. It should have a massive cast.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi 5/10 ​

Man what in the hell is this? Somebody please tell me... What in the hell is this!!??? A demo for Xenoverse now that I think about it HAHAHA. Also if they EVER give me a low ass roster as they have in this game in a future release, I will be returning the game to gamestop for a full refund. This is not what the series is known for.

How do you describe disappointment? I can do it in one word. Xenoverse. Now in all honesty I paid 15 bucks for it but for peaks sake people it was 60 bucks at once. This game is just so damn angering. Like I was appalled at the decisions made b. Why these horrid blobby ass Play Do Looking Characters models!!!!!??? Damn man just be like the Storm Franchise and use that beautiful ass engine. Everything looks like an damn art piece in the demo of Storm 4 man. And the TokiToki menu/world oh God why? Why? The entire time I played this I was asking myself. WHY? Why are the servers down? Why is the character creation so shallow? And then I just thank God that they toned down the blobbbyness from Raging Blast 1 & 2 because man were those games ugly as shit. But when all that is pushed aside and I just pay attention to the story I just loved the game. The intro was awesome too. And the fact that my favorite character Trunks is in the lead had me wanting to buy the game on release. (Glad I didn't since they didn't do him justice but instead had him going HEY! HEY! HEY! Everytime you talked to him) Also the graphics are acceptable at times like in the scene with Goku vs Frieza during the story battle. Man I got goosebumps because of the sound and visuals during that fight. I wish everything was that polished and shiny instead of blobby and drab. But guess that's too much to ask from a company that will sell Raging Blast for 30 bucks lol the nerve. So what do you all think of Xenoverse? Did it live up to your next gen expectations?​

Dragon Ball Z Budokai had the best cut scenes of all those games.

And I enjoyed Budokai 2's board game story thing. That was fun.

Budokai 3 was fun too.

The rest I couldn't get into.


Also, in terms of Duel mode, Xenoverse was completely ass. I played the Budokai series with my brother and cousins sooooooo much. It took me a match to get bored of Xenoverse.

The story should be about Miira and Towa again, that would be my dream-game ^-^

That would be the perfect mixture. And on the Storm 4 engine?!? That would be well worth 60 bucks imo.

I agree about Budokai 1 but about 2 and that boardgame thing... I wanst too fond of that...

And yea 2 player is garbage but you gotta use it to get past the God awful parallel quests. They should just look at Budokai 3 and copy every single aspect at this point. I have no faith they can be creative enough to match the story they are trying so hard to tell.

The storm-games look so beautiful, way better than the always shiny, glowing character-models from Xenoverse, especially the super-saiyans. But I really enjoyed the facial expressions of the characters during the fights. That was one of the best things in XV.

Yea I dont know why they act like every single second the characters need to look bathed in oil. Then when not looking oily they look like a play do figure lol idk what to say anymore. Didn't pay much attention to facial stuff since half of the time the lip syncing was off and their lips didnt open when talking. Kind lazy imo

I loved Budokai 2 and tenkaichi 3. The combo idea from Budokai is great and budokai 2 had a pretty large arsenal of moves. I also liked the story board thing like someone else said. I havent played any of the games past tenkaichi 3 mainly cos most people say they are crap.
