One piece is far better plot-wise, and it's not even that strong. In the department of character development, it beats DBZ by far.

GT sucks and just checked the Battle of Gods movie... damn, that was garbage.

DBZ rocks up untill Majin Vegeta. The rest is utter garbage.

For plot definitely OP because the mc has a goal and the story progresses to it. There was no goal in DB, it was just beating the next bad guy that came along. I love DB but the plot wasn't all that lol. I still personally prefer DB thought because I grew up with it and stuff.

I just read dragon ball for the first time last year, so it's not just a nostalgia thing to love Dragon Ball, it's just really good. I like one piece but Dragon Ball is god tier as an manga (GT is noncanon anime BS).
