It is true! Dragonball Kai ends right before it in Japan so Cho/Super fits right in with it. Not to mention the movie comes out in August in North America.

These are good times.

not until FCKING AUGUST!? i hope it gets released much sooner online ughh
I heard that the english dub is in the works right now. And I'm fine with it being in August. Battle of Gods took about a year to come out in NA in english so I had to watch it in jap dub. DBZ in jap is the worst for me.

Ya know I am actually a bit crossed on this......yeah I absolutely loved DB/DBZ as a kid/teenager. And I am ecstatic to seeing it make a return, but in all honesty it feels like they are going to try and continue to milk the hell out of a series that's all ready had the hell milked out of it, its like a dairy cow thats all skin and bone shooting nothin' but dust out of its utters now.

If this becomes a semi-long running series again I hope they do implement some things from that Japanese arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes.

So date has been confirmed?
Sorta.

Final “Majin Buu arc” Box Confirms “Dragon Ball Super” Start Date

The “Toei Animation Online Shop” has posted a listing for the fifth and final Blu-ray box set of the “Majin Buu arc” of Dragon Ball Kai. Set to be released 02 September 2015, this box set will contain episodes 147 to 159 of the Japanese broadcast version of the series and will come packaged with an exclusive booklet.

This listing provides the first concrete episode count for the Dragon Ball Kai series, confirming that the Majin Buu arc will conclude after 61 episodes. This brings the series’ total episode count to 159, at least for the Japanese version of the series. As of this post, the TV schedules for most major networks (including Fuji TV) have been released up through June, which have episode 159 scheduled to air on 28 June 2015. Assuming there is no break between the end of Dragon Ball Kai and the beginning of Dragon Ball Super, the latter will begin syndication on 05 July 2015.

You say that because you are used to Eng Dubs. Try to change to subs and you'll quickly adapt. I've done that and today I think the japanese voices are good.

Indeed lol..
