Dragon Ball Super So Illogical

Goku was a special case. It was stated Goku was going to get special treatment and keep his actual body thus allowing him to train and get stronger. I highly doubt frieza would get such treatment.

Plus he hardly looks like he is in any condition to train

Fair enough he got weakened a bit. Still that doesnt make it all illogical all of a sudden.

Still we dont know what training he has done and we know very little about his race and family powers regarding power increases (training and such. For example the saiyans increase in power a lot after a battle and when surviving near death).
Gold form might just as well be some sort of Super Saiyan Blue.

Wasnt Goku easily holding his own vs Frieza before Frieza went gold?
Gold might be a bigger upgrade for Frieza than Super Saiyan Blue is for Goku.
