Just based on story it's above it. Super better developed the whole gods of different universes by introducing Champa and Beerus so early. GT waited 30 episodes, just a about, to release the Shadow Dragons, which was the best arc.

Dragon ball super make GT worthless as Goku is SS3 not SS4.Also if we just get super end after this fight then movie become worthless.So dragon ball super needs to make something more otherwise it like repeat story again.
