best part was planet namek and the bouts on earth just before (saiyan saga)...then cell games was okaybut buu saga and gt lost what it was that had me hooked

Honestly? I think DBZ was only great up to the Frieza saga.

Of course this would require Toriyama to follow through with his inital plan to have Gohan, Goten and Trunks replace their respective fathers. Which he teased and toyed in the Buu arc, but at the end of the day, Goku and Vegeta were the heroes.
