[Question] Dracule Mihawk

What would happen if Mihawk decided to become a Yonko???? We know he has the skills and the ability to become one,so if was to get rid of one of the Yonkos who would most likely go???

Big Mom, BB can't go because near final villain if not final
Kaidou hype, unkillable
Shanks, if he could have done it he would have theoretically, plus they've been portrayed as close to equal as you can get.

That leaves Big Mom.

That's just my opinion, if it wasn't for BB needing to fight Luffy later I'd say he could take him down as well, especially in a 1v1, a straight up physical fighter with a weapon seems like the absolute worst match for BB.

He doesn't have a crew, and he doesn't seem a Captain material...
And if he were to face off against a Yonko for the cause, he'd get owned pretty easily IMO...

For e.g.
New WB pirates don't want him as a Yonko and attack him, Mihawk chances against likes of Marco, Jozu, Vista, etc. all at once are very slim...

He cant be a yonkou without amassing a crew, killing a yonkou and taking over their territories. No matter which yonkou Mihawk chooses, there is no gurantee that he'd beat him/her.

Couple of things,

1. Do we really know whether he does or doesn't have a crew? The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. We've seen him twice(maybe a few more) and at MF none of the shichibukai had their crew(why idk they knew it was a war with WB) all the others he's just being casual. I agree it seems like he has no crew though.

2. In a 1v1 against the Yonko he'd probably beat Teach currently and possibly Big Mom. It seems established he wouldn't beat Shank(they'd stalemate) and Kaido seems unkillable. I know people say Yonko battles include the whole crew but this leads to my #3

3 If you beat/kill the Yonko captain will the rest of the crew keep fighting?(cut the head the body will follow) And once the captain was out would there be a chance for the subordinates? Someone posed it earlier so I'll ask with WB, if Mihawk was able to strike down WB do you think any of his crew would believe they could defeat Mihawk? If he took out WB would he be able to take out the others as well?

In case any one is wondering Mihawk isn't a Yonko because he's not a full fledged pirate, he's government committed. If he dropped the war lord act those 4 Yonko would become 5. They're all on the same level so I doubt they would kick out 1 member just for the sake of keeping it at 4. There's no special significance to it.

you can only bait so hard before it becomes obvious

facing a yonko individually and a yonko crew are two entirely different things, the scale of those fights aren't even in the same ballpark wtf

that doesn't even only apply to yonko, if any individual on the same level as a captain faces his entire crew they're bound to lose

I bring it up because a lot of people just go with the assumption he has no crew which would be incredibly odd.

Because I posed the scenario, I said in a 1v1 meaning hypothetically he's lucky enough or the rest of the crew respects their captain enough to stay out of it, like the SH's would for Luffy more often than not if he said so.

I vaguely remember Shanks asking him to join his crew when he was drunk, and him declining harshly. Only reason he became a war lord was probably because the marines wouldn't leave him alone.

For #1, I was referring to that Boondocks evidence crap btw. When you have a friend who says it to you constantly because of the show, you get a little irritated....

I get what you're saying but let's assume he decides to take antisocial to a whole new level and Let's assume he doesn't have a crew but gets a makeshift crew of trebol level misfits and he goes after the title of a Yonko who would he easily defeat????

if he could have he would have. people say that shanks and mihawk are equal on what they used to be years ago. at one point even shanks and buggy were like equals. that does not make buggy powerful now. at this point shanks > mihawk instead of whatever was in the past. mihawk's strongest attack wasnt even strong enough to wreck jozu let alone whitebeard at marineford. if he was strong as shanks his attack would have ****ed jozu. people say he only became shikibukai coz he wants to be left alone by marines, marines dont even try to go after yonko, so why not become a yonko instead of shikibukai if he had the potential. he is not on level of yonko to take a 1 vs 1 fight against them let alone their crew. (but i am fan of mihawk).

You can't be a yonkou without a crew. Mihawk doesn't strike me as a leader/captain type so I can't imagine him as a yonkou. Ignoring that, if he did I think he and Shanks would take over the new world!
