Download as avi file?

Hey guys, basically i wanna watch HD naruto episodes on my xbox 360, but in order to watch it on my xbox by a USB i have to have the episode as an avi. format. But usually when i download any episode from the anime download list on this site it automatically makes the file format mkv. So can anyone help me to download new epsiodes as avi. files? thanks a lot.

I think it'll be harder to find them in the .avi format than getting a free converter program and convert it from .mkv to .avi .
.mkv is, if I remember correctly, a format for videos of higher quality than .avi, so you'll basically be compressing the file, I believe, for which you need the program that can do so.
I don't really know about any free converter programs, winavi might be one, but I'm unsure as to whether there will be a watermark or not when you convert the video, search around

but if you just want to convert the mkv to avi use XviD4PSP 5 it works for me i dont loose subs when doing it, its free and no water marks

usually 720p's are in mkv or mp4 format, if you had it in avi it would be double size and not as good in quality

if you want avi, then its normally dvd quality, but Narutoverse.org have some special avi encodes if im correct
