This post marks the beginning of a mission, this being the Witchwood Doubles Mission (A Ranked)




Great! That makes us a team then… she said but as she noticed more and more people gather, she noticed the same man she met from before arriving with another. Eye contact is made between the two – with the male turning his face to meet with Oui’s. Oh? So you managed to get someone to fight with you huh, cute. It won’t save you from the pain of my fists! the muscle head said. Oui simply smirked, as she rushed directly towards the man, a swift and steady pace. Nero, the same individual would raise a his left arm, and swing it forwards directly to make contact with the girl but Oui would simply release chakra from her feet, allowing her to gain a swift aerial advantage as she jumped over the extended arm. Once in the air, she would spin swiftly into a kick that would strike Nero in the neck. His body however was far more resilient than she imagined, as he gripped her leg and tossed Oui. She flew almost into a wall but using her wings to readjust herself she didn’t hesitate. I’ll take care of this one, you deal with his ally! she said to her partner as she rushed back in once more.
Ozymandias was uninterested in fighting common rabble, but Hokusai readily accepted their challenge. Slightly annoyed at the current situation, the pharaoh thought to end the altercation as quickly as possible, without dirtying his hands with the blood of the other lowlife's compatriot. Using his chakra, Ozymandias causes a pair of stone spikes to rise through the man's feet, piercing directly into the length of his legs, leaving him immobilised.

Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.



Initially, his expression was one of shock, as the earthen spikes skewered his lower body, but turned to a menacing grin as his entire form began to liquefy. Falling past the spikes, his body had become a moving puddle that reformed a meter behind the Earth technique. The showcase of this ability only turned Ozymandias' mood more sour, as he realised that the act of killing him would only take longer. Forming a string of seals, Ozymandias forms several scimitars made of lightning around the man, and skewers his body from all directions. With the weapons lodged within the man's body, he is unable to liquefy, leaving him at the mercy of Ozymandias. But this cur wasn't worth the time it would take to do so. Forming a single seal, Ozymandias resumes control over his chakra, now lodged within the man in the form of lightning constructs, and with a nonchalant wave of his arm, throws the man away behind him, in the direction of Hokusai and her opponent.

Description: The user will form a sequence of 3 seals, and gather chakra from their circulatory system. This chakra will manifest as a single or numerous shapes of solid lightning chakra, resembling weaponry such as swords, spears, axes etc, of varying sizes that can be controlled by the user. There are 2 distinct usages of this technique. One of them being, upon mental command, the weapons can shoot, akin to that of arrows fired from bows, towards their target at high speeds at a continuous rate from wherever they spawn. The second usage, is to manifest one or two weapons, wielding them as melee objects in close combat. Due to the lightning itself being tangible in nature, it is able to be held by the user and deal damage similar to that of normal weaponry, in addition to electrocution and mild burns characteristic of Lightning Release effects. While these usages are separated, the user is able to enact the projectile usage after the melee construct(s) has been created, though at the cost of a move in this case. While the weapons of the projectile usage will last until the end of the turn they are created, firing for the entire duration of it, weapons of the melee usage will last up to 3 turns upon creation, unless destroyed or dispelled upon the user ceasing chakra supply to sustain the weapon(s). Should the weapons be discarded, but still maintained on the field through chakra fuel, they can be mentally called back to the user. When interacting with other objects or techniques, the weapons will release blasts of electricity to act against their force, effortlessly repelling normal weapons and reducing the momentum of oncoming jutsu which collide with it.

Description: The user will perform a handseal and focus on a solid entity containing their raiton chakra to harness it. This will allow them to take control of the said object by manifesting a coating of static lightning around it and levitating it (in a similar manner to Lightning Blades Levitation). The user will be able to govern it's movements through the air with hand gestures and upon contact with living beings, the static contact will be shocking to the touch. It will paralyze in the same way as Chidori Nagashi, with this paralysis persisting for long as contact is maintained.

Note: Can only be used four times per battle



The constructs would disappear, having served their purpose, and Ozymandias looks around the stadium, hoping to find something of interest. With nothing immediately presenting itself that would entertain the pharaoh, he would create a small throne for himself with which to survey the entirety of the arena from the walkway in the seating area. Within his field of view would be Hokusai and the two vagrants who'd challenged them.

Leaving her uncanny ally towards the enemy, Oui would pursue the muscle head in front of her. She initially didn’t know what much was there to him, but she didn’t want to be held up for too long by him. Nero immediately shrugged of her previous blow as it didn’t pose much of an issue for him to overcome. He immediately ran towards the girl, slamming his hands onto the surface of the ground as earth spikes would erupt violently across the terrain in front of him as it was guided towards Hokusai. The artist would in turn make the dragon hand seal. She inhaled and exhaled immediately after, but as she does this another handseal was made in unision.

With this, she released a large burst of raging winds from her mouth as though she was roaring like a dragon. The winds shattered the ground as it swiftly approached, smashing into the stone spikes that threatened her – but to the perception of Nero – the winds would be seen as lightning. This was due to her ingenious illusion placed on the subject of question. It was only a mere moment after that little clash the enemy Ozymandias had with him camr flying by but all she did was kick the out of her way and into a nearby wall.

Description: The user will perform a single hand seal while gathering chakra into their mouth, while also inhaling surrounding air as they mold it. The user will then exhale, simulating a roar as they releasing a swirling vortex of sharp winds, having a similar range in power to that of Wind Release: Pressure Damage - while having a vortex like effect where it picks up debris, water or other loose objects nearby to converge into the vortex. It is ideal for places such as deserts or near water sources to combine into the vortex. Can only be used thrice per battle, and only once every other turn.

Description:
A simple but powerful illusion that is used immediately before an elemental technique. The user does one hand seal (Tiger, Ram or Horse) before the ones required for the elemental technique that follows. The result is that the enemy will see the next released technique as that of another element. However, to perfect the illusion, the user must train and have the ability to string the hand seal of the genjutsu with the ones of the elemental technique so that they seem to be only one set of hand seals.

Description: The user slams their hands on the ground and giant rocks rise up and jag the opponent from underneath.

Nero would smirk, as he summoned a wave of alcoholic chakra into a giant shield of sorts from the area around him. It took the blow of the bursting winds, to which he noticed afterwards that it was a mere illusion disguising the true nature. It was evident in the lack of high pitched frequency noises the electricity produces. Almost had me girly…but it’s time I showed you how we do things around here! he said as he activated the third gate passively. He immediately rushed at Hokusai – to which the girl approached him as well but little did she know how much of a powerhouse he was as he immediately threw a punch towards her face, only for her to barely avoid it as she side stepped towards her left side. The man would then reposition his body to performing a kick. It was fast, hitting her dead into her stomach as she flew across the stands and into the arena below. Nero followed close behind, as he formed a single hand seal and exhaled a fireball down towards Hokusai.

The artist would swiftly rise up to her feet and channeling chakra while flapping her wings to avoid them, as she became airborne with Nero now landing five meters away. The two stared at each other for a moment but it would continue – the two of them swiftly engaging in continues hand to hand combat as both combatants engaged with each other.

( Hachimon ) The Eight Inner Gates

Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The user opens the gates in sequence, up to the desired gate to achieve its effects. Opening the gates is a fast process and can be done in mere moments up to the desired gate. EIG Masters can do so easily and in a passive way (not spending a move). When one opens up to a given EIG, that opening lasts 4 turns. Opening additional gates upon the last turn of the active opening adds 2 turns. However, there is an exception. Opening the last and 8th gate can only be done for 2 turns, even if the user opens it immediately.


  • (Kaimon) - The Gate of Opening: The user activates The Gate of Opening or First Gate, which is located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so he can begin to access 100% of their strength. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus. This gate adds +5 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 1.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -5 damage per turn.
  • (Kyūmon) - The Gate of Healing: The user activates the Gate of Healing or 2nd Gate (also named Rest Gate) which is located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. This gate adds +10 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -10 damage.
  • (Seimon) - The Gate of Life: The user activates the Gate of Life or 3rd Gate which is located in the Spinal cord. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. Allows the user to use Hidden Lotus. This gate adds +15 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 2.5x faster. This gate also adds +10 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • (Shōmon) - The Gate of Pain: The user activates the Gate of Pain or 4th Gate (also named Wound Gate) which is located in the Spinal cord, lower than the Seimon. Increases the user's strength and speed. May cause muscle tissue to begin to tear on use. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • (Tomon) - The Gate of Limit: The user activates the Gate of Limit or 5th gate, which is located in the abdomen. Increases the user's speed and power. This gate adds +30 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3.5x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -15 damage.
  • (Keimon) - Gate of View: The user activates the Gate of View or 6th Gate, located in the stomach. Increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. This gate adds +40 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 4x faster. This gate also adds +15 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -25 damage.
  • (Kyōmon) - The Gate of Wonder: The user activates the Gate of Wonder or 7th Gate which is located below the stomach. Those who open this gate will pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. However, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds after exiting this gate, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger without great strain on the user's chakra. This gate adds +60 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 7x faster. This gate also adds +20 chakra and damage to Ninjutsu. User suffers -40 damage.
  • (Shimon) - The Gate of Death: The user activates the Gate of Death or 8th Gate, located at the heart, requiring the user to puncture their chest just above the heart in order to open it, enabling the user to achieve what is described as The Eight Gates Released Formation" ( Hachimon Tonkō no Jin ). Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood ( Chi no Jōki ) from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted approximately a hundred times their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body. This gate adds +120 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 8x faster and allows the user to warp space with his speed.
Note: The EIG users can only open the gates twice per fight, meaning that if he allows the EIG opening to time out, he can only open the EIGs once more during the match. EIG Masters can open EIGs three per battle if the first two uses are only up to 5th gate
Note: Starting with the fourth gate, EIG users begin to feel the side effects of each gate as they time out. EIG Masters don't suffer damage from opening up to 6th Gate, being left unable to move correctly for 2 turns and unable to mold chakra above S rank in the next turn. EIG Masters will feel the side effects for opening 7th Gate and up.
Note: The user cannot use other self powering techniques (such as custom variations of Lightning Armor, Sage Mode, etc) while he has EIG opened
Note: Opening the 8th Gate kills the user at the end of the 2 turns it remains opened.
(Kikku) Kick

Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.
(Katon: Gōenkyū) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball

Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.

Description: This technique will enable the user to release a series of large amounts of chakras from his chakra points on the tips of toes or exerting from his palms (incase he is standing on his hands) enabling the user to move at fast speeds when he kicks/pushes off the ground or kicks/pushes onto a direction within mid-air in order to evade an incoming jutsu, or to move into hand-to-hand combat.

The pharaoh was slightly incensed at Hokusai juggling the Hozuki back to him. She was a bold one. If it meant that this would be over sooner, then he was willing to accept this, even if it walked the line of insolence at times. From where he sat on his earthen chair, Ozymandias gathered a moderate amount of chakra to his right hand, curling his fingers to form a fist. In a timely manner, the battered man was within striking distance, and was swatted away by Ozymandias in the direction of the empty seating. He definitely seemed to be the weaker of the two, as the one Hokusai was facing apparently had access to the Eight Inner Gates.

Description: The user gathers lightning chakra around his fist, generating a sphere of pure lightning around it. The user can then punch a target, unleashing the lightning in the form of a localized electrical explosion.



Based on what he was seeing, the two Surgebinders would be fighting in the stands all day, before they'd actually engaged anyone in the arena. Leaning his head on his left arm, allowing his right hand to rest on the arm of the chair, Ozymandias concentrates his chakra into five separate spots in the ground around him. Pillars of flame erupt from the floor of the stadium, destroying much of the seating. Using his chakra to funnel some of the minerals into the fire, it would be empowered, the flames bellowing as they assume the form of a large dragon, gazing hungrily at the man whom Hokusai was occupied with. With mental command, the dragon launches forward, its mouth open. It initially travels on a path that would take it directly overhead Hokusai and the Gates user. Once it was within range, it would swallow the man whole, and Ozymandias would trigger the dragon to explode. He expected the female Surgebinder to have some way to remove herself from the danger and to also ensure that the opponent didn't evade the attack. Before the dragon entered within short-range, Ozymandias uttered only a single word of warning to Hokusai; "Girl!". Raising a single arm, he forms the seal of confrontation, and the dragon explodes.

Description: The user will pool their chakra into 5 separate spots around them. Then, the user will summon 5 pillars of fire hot enough to instantly incinerate objects it touches, which then all meet together above the user's position. Using shape manipulation, the user will form a large dragon head from the pillars of fire that can be controlled by the user at will. Upon the user's command, the dragon will lunge towards the target at incredible speed. The fire that composes the dragon is intangible, but by forming a single hand seal, the user can trigger a large explosion which will decimate anything caught within its range. Due to the size of the technique, the explosion should not be triggered within short range of the user, or they will be caught within the explosion as well.

Finding herself in the middle of the her partner’s attempt to take the enemy out – the artist bitterly snared at such the thought. Girl? Seriously? That was his queue for her to avoid it; to which she kicked Nero in his groin area and swiftly using her wings in conjunction of surging fire into the bottom of her feet. She swiftly arced away from the point of impact; watching as Nero was down from the blow of the attack. "I don’t know got into you, but next time let’s work more as a team please." she said as she landed directly next to Ozmandias.

Description: The user will focus their fire chakra into their hands or feet. The the user will surround their hands of feet in flames releasing a blast of fire from their hands like when a rocket blasts off. This concerntrated stream will travel up to mid range. Due to the power of the flames, if the user doesn't have his feet firmly on the ground the blast of fire will push him in the opposite direction to which the flames are traveling.
Note: can only make max of 2 blasts per use


She sighed, tucking her wings closer to her body as she made sure no one else was around to try and get a sneak attack on her. She retied her hair into a bun; using her singnature brush as a hair pin to keep it in place as she continued to observe the arean. It seems her partner did quite the number on the seating area…but alas she asked him without looking at him. "I’d appreciate if I could get your name as well, this way we can work a little bit better and not be calling me “girl” when I already gave you my name." she said. As this happens she felt her communicator starting to ring but she ignored it, simply ending the call immediately without even checking who it was from.

This post concludes the end of the mission.
