Why do some people(not to be sexist but mainly girls around my age) have double standards about things? I mean make up your mind :nuts:

it's kind of being a hypocrite but not quite like.....A double standard is the application of different sets of principles for similar situations, or by two different people in the same situation

Women are and always will not know what they want (No offense to female members)

Pretty much describes women around my age.

Most people have double standards.... Mostly because it is terms of fairness and laziness.

For example, if you get stuck doing the dishes alone...you immediately want to complain or have someone help... But when you aren't the one doing it, you don't always think about it.

I guess you could say it's a lacking of sympathy and the idea of natural selection (fending for one's self basically)

For example, you look at a package deal... You see three benefits out of five rules for it. And you want the three but wish to do away with the other two....simply because with self preservation...the first three are helping you while the other two hinder you.


That would be my best opinion (though a terrible explaination sorry) as to why double standards happen. People want the benefits of life with a minimal amount of obligations or restrictions....thus a double standard.

Bro, don't try to understand women. Women understand each other and they hate each other (from what I see at work and at school). Dudes that understand each other are usually what you call...bro friends?

But for the most part, people use Double-Standards because of a system put in place from a long time ago that still brainwashes people at a young age today. That system teaches us
