Double Standards for Sakura and Hinata

I honestly don't understand it either. They say she's useless but she was key in her battle against sasori. Coming up with antidotes. medical ninjutsu, There's nothing wrong with her. But kiba on the other hand...

Sakura is as close as any female will get to being on Naruto/Sasuke level. Not saying she is even close, but she is as close as it will get.
I do not want this to be Sakura vs Hinata thread. All I am doing is pointing out how some fanboys have double standards.

My point is that there are people that expect Sakura to be both best supporter/medic and as well the best female on 1v1 fights.

Well you could ask Outrageous, phoenixforcexD, and probably even Chatte to verify, but I have no double standard....I respect Sakura for what she's done.

And The difference in Part I was that Hinata doesn't go all fangirl around Naruto....and that's mostly because of her personality difference of being shy as opposed to outgoing like Sakura.

In addition, I think Kishimoto handled her fight against Neji better....instead of making it a cat-fight that got real between Sakura and Ino (please note the got real part is sincere in that they actually fought), it was a true fight, but was on a principle of someone degrading one for family reasons.

After that, in part I, Hinata's other actions were actually to help and encourage Naruto such as during the Written Test and before Neji vs Naruto.



Honestly some are just Sakura haters :|....others just heavily resent that other than the one moment in the Forest of Death, Sakura mostly was negative towards Naruto.


The other thing is that Hinata is a side character. Meaning we only see her when she's around Naruto...who happens to be her love interest. As such, we only really see her when she has a legitimate reason to focus on simply Naruto. I'm sure that there are times where Hinata isn't all up into Naruto.

As such, we never had a chance to see her when she isn't around Naruto such as how Sakura was during most of Part II (for example Sasori vs Chiyo and Sakura, or when she was going to help Shikamaru against Hidan). By that I mean Sakura not around Sasuke.

The only time we saw Hinata when she isn't around Naruto was when she was in the war; however, it was a war to protect Naruto so honestly he's basically still there.

As of now, she is still not. Tsunade and Mei > Sakura. It has been foreshadowed multiple times that she is going to surpass Tsunade by the end of Manga and given that last 2 chapters she got 2 power-ups possibly even by the end of this arc.
Soon, she is going to be best 1vs1 female fighter.

Her every thought revolves around Naruto-kun. She keeps fan-girling him like there is no tomorrow. IMHO she is like part 1 Sakura, but instead of going for Sasuke she is going for Naruto.

Now be honest Hinata fans, why do you have double standards when it comes to Sakura and Hinata ?

Sakura's development has happened more as a shinobi (fighting and med skills, whereas i feel Hinata's has been more as an individual person (emotionally i guess) Not to say that either haven't had both kinds of growth, but generally speaking Sakura still can't truly accept Naruto (maybe as a good friend but not anything romantic as yet) because she's still hung up on 'Sasuke-kun' as you put it so she still lacks that emotional maturity, and Hinata hasn't become a quite as powerful and hasn't accomplished as much feats as a kunoichi as Sakura but she has had huge character growth in her confidence and belief in herself and her friends (mostly Naruto) and much less shy.

As for Hinata fangirling Naruto, I think she has always had a more deep and genuine admiration/attraction for Naruto (because he was so strong-willed unlike her) which became love eventually, so i think it's not really 'fangirling' him. Maybe in the early stages when she used to faint when he looked at her etc. it was idk) Sakura was a bit more shallow only going after Sasuke's looks and talent as a shinobi to start with although I think she is genuinely in love with him now.

Hinata likes Naruto, yes, but she's also mindful of others. Sakura, not so much. There is a clear difference between the two relationships. Naruto is not only Hinata's love interest, but her motivation aswell. Sasuke tried to kill Sakura. XD

I am saying that most Sakura haters see Hinata as something she is not. I personally have no problem with Hinata, she is one of the few female character that has actually had development so I like her, but I cannot stand her fanboys/girls that bash Sakura for things that Hinata is also doing.

So watching naruto get pined down by pain and doing nothing is what hinata did and before some random sakura fan comes and says she could not see him or didnt know what was going on there was a guy with tthe same eyes as hinata right next to her giving her intell and when she found out she still aint do sh*t any random foder healing ninja could have healed hinata even though im againts any narisaku moment seeing your teammate come save you is more dramatic and a moral booster not saying my girl hinata didnt help but it seems like a sakura does is slip into the background and watch sh*t go down i dont like that and even in the current manga she makes statements like i cought up but had to be saved really she just makes me sick fangirling not in cluded

All she done is heal people?And saving lives with Medical Ninjutsu isn't important? This is the stupidity that floats around Narutobase.Healing people is important.What Sakura has done is save countless lives.Kankuro can attest to that.Not to mention, a few chapter ago Sakura was restoring Naruto chakra.I'm guessing that isn't important in your world.Running a hospital isn't important either.

As for Sakura power ups, I keep seeing people call it an "asspull" and "kishi pull it out of his ass" which I find quite disgusting that so many people on this forum have an **** fetish.But in the case of Sakura, her power ups are long overdo and are completely logical.In all actuality, Sakura isn't powerful enough base on her intelligence level, chakra control, and being a natural genjutsu type since part one.People seem to forget that characters that aren't named Naruto or Sasuke don't get much screen time, but just because you don't see them, doesn't mean they aren't training and developing jutsus.

What is this crap?Beside being hard to read, it's makes no sense.Sakura should have ran out to help naruto against Pain when Naruto told everyone in the village to stay out of the fight.Hinata ran down to save him is some kind of indication that Sakura should have did the same;yet Hinata action only got herself nearly killed and made Naruto go Nine tails which would have resulted in massive casualties if it wasn't for sheer luck.Jesus, you really should think before you press "post"
