[Theory] Double Real Rinnegan's True Ability: INVINCIBILITY.

Throughout the manga there has been a general idea or theme that a Rinnegan user is invincible.

Well, in the lastest chapter...

Obito claims that the double Rinnegan makes the original user invincible.

I don't think he is exaggerating. He is being quite literal. There is credence to this statement as he is very experienced in combat knowledge.

Also, being the former Juubi Jin, you expect him to scoff at any other abilites, but he still puts double real rinnegan as top status.

Kishi has been hyping the Rinnegan as being invincible since Pain.

Nagato had Double Rinnegan(but not original owner) and was associated with being invincible even though he wasn't.

Here Tobi called Pain invincible.

Zetsu expressed complete disbelief upon observing Nagato's defeat, even though they are directly created by Madara.

Now it is time for Kishi to live Rinnegan up to the hype.


Confirmed by Obito, the Double Real Rinnegan has the ability to make the original user invincible.

Perhaps this means Madara would be able to employ something like an Infinite Izanagi, or have some impervious aura like Superman, except with no weaknesses.

Doubt it, how would Obito know what would happen if Madara gets both his rinnegan back? He's never seen an original owner of rinnegan with both rinnegan in action before. Obtio was probably just exaggerating, Madara's going to be strong, but I doubt he's going to be extremely stronger than Naruto and Sasuke put together.

Nothing is 'confirmed'.All I see is another statement hyping something that's sure to not live up to the hype.

It's a treat that Kishi is saving for the audience.

I used literary knowlege to predict that Kishi will do this.

Good writers will deliver. If Kishi doesn't, his editor will force him to.

Missing the climax is a big no no in writing.

But where would he find out such information? It's not like there's an instructional dvd on what rinnegan does. The only way he could find out that something terrible happens when both rinnegans return to its owner is if Madara or Zetsu told him.

Perhaps while he was the Juubi Jin, he had Prophetic Abilites, but more into the past.

How else would he know that the Sword of Nuboku was from the Sage? I suppose that the Juubi Jin can see the past hosts that used it.
