[Technical Issue] Double Posts Happen Too Often To Be Coincidental

Almost on a regular basis, I post in the Quick Reply widget and, after clicking on the button to post, forces my browser (Firefox) to ask if I want to leave the page. Well I have to do that if I want to post! So I click "Leave Page" and wouldn't you know it, the sudden forceing of terminating the script causes double-posting to happen. I believe it's just because Quick Reply is its own separate widget. It asks me to leave the page even if I don't want to post what I have, just so long as I click inside the text box.

If it prompts that, just close it, then reload the page and it will ask you again, click leave page and voila, only one post.

I'm mostly asking if the administration can edit the widget so it's not separate of the current page so it wouldn't have my browser ask to leave said page, which in almost full certainty causes the double-posting to happen.

if it double posts you could always do what i do when it happens and delete one of the posts :|

Yeh that happens to me also but just go and delete one of them..to me that's not double posting, it's when you post two different posts straight after each other. then I warn you and if you don't listen then I neg your a$$

Yeah I've been doing that before I made this thread. The two duplicate posts, I mean, not the multi-posts on top of each other. Your reputation power must be at 4 or 5!
