So you wanna learn Doton huh? Well first answer these questions.
Tell me what is the Doton element?
Who are some of its famous users?
What are its strengths and weaknesses?
Why is it awesome?

Tell me what is the Doton element? Answer: Doton or Earth release is one of the basic 5 ninjutsu elements that allow the user of this style to control and manipulate the earth around them to create objects for offensive purposes or defensive purposes, this element is used for many kekkei genkais which are Wood release and lava release. It also one of the three basic 5 that are used to create the unique kekkei genkai known as Dust Release used by Ōnoki.

Who are some of its famous users? Ōnoki, Kakuzu, and Mu.

What are its strengths and weaknesses? Doton is strong against Water Release Techniques and is weak against Lightning Release.

Why is it awesome? Only reason i know its awesome is because you can squish people like bugs with the Element.

Well, I guess if you did know too much about Doton then you wouldn't be here right? Offensive and Defensive purposes alone? If I wanted to I could build a mansion using Doton. Kakuzu a famous Doto user? Naw, Kakashi or the 3rd Hokage was a better earth user than Kakuzu in my opinion. The fact that Kakuzu had a mask for every element besides water tells me that might of been his natural affinity. Why is earth weak to lightning? Why is it strong against water?

I want you to hug the ground for awhile. Appreciate it for all it has done for you. The ground has been stepped on since the beginning of time, yet it never falters. It has been carved by nature and abused by time, yet its eyes remain dry. It is your friend while being a tool at the same time. It remains overlooked while being essential to living life. Can you understand something that stands under you? Love it, become it, appreciate it, and make it yours.

Earth is weak to lightning element jutsu because it can break apart the earth with ease due to it being a highly vibrating element in which once it strikes the earth it basically fractures the earths integrity thus causing it to break apart due to its molecules being vibrating at a higher frequency than it should.

Earth release is stronger than water release because naturally the earth can soak up water and stop it from going even further, though if the earth absorbs to much water it becomes mud but it becomes solid again after drying up after a period of time.

Gets onto the ground and starts hugging the ground i think about what zanda is saying and begin to understand what he is saying, i close my eyes and think about it for awhile reaching the conclusion that i should show more appreciation for the earth i get up and await for zanda-sempais next instrutions.

(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

With this tech you can create pillars, small tools, and small shields of earth through manipulating the earth beneath you. Create a tool of your choice and go face off with that training dummy in front of you.

(Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Description: The user, emerging from the ground below the target area, pulls down the opponent so that only their head is above ground. Unable to move, the opponent can easily be decapitated or tortured.

This technique allows you to conceal yourself underground before emerging underneath your opponent and pulling them into the ground below trapping them from the neck down. With their head above ground you can now easily kill your opponent or torture them. Try it on that dummy to the right of you.

Jutsu #1

I concentrate and build up raw chakra in my hands i then convert it into earth chakra once done i release it into the ground, using shape manipulation i then use the earth mixed with my chakra and create a spear made of the earth i then use the same method to create a shield i then pick up both items and run towards the dummy once reaching it i stab it with the spear and then bash it with the shield.​

Jutsu #2

I build up raw chakra all around my body and then convert it into earth chakra i then go underneath the ground i then find my opponent and emerged underneath the dummy and grab its legs pulling it under until it reaches its neck i then come out of the ground and kick it in the face.​

Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Pick up the big rock over there. I want you to then manipulate it as you add your chakra shaping it into a staff. I then want you to hit that apple off that tree branch.

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.

I want you to concentrate your chakra into your arm and then release your chakra creating a ring of rocks that you will fling towards my clone.

Creates a clone within short range of you that then begins to run towards mid.range after sticking its tongue out at you.

Jutsu #1

I walk over to the big rock and pick it up i then begin to add my earth chakra into to it as i do this i use shape manipulation to begin shaping it into a staff, once shaping it into a staff i walk over to the tree and knock an apple off of it.​

Jutsu #2

I raise my right arm and begin focusing chakra in it once done i then convert it into earth natured chakra i then release the chakra in front of me and create a ring of rocks out of it, as your clone runs away from me i fling all of the rocks at your clone hitting him in the gut, face, and legs.​

Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.

Perform the Rat hand seal before controlling multiple sections of rock that rise from the ground before moving them around the opponent trapping as they form into two gigantic sections of rock that crush the opponent in between them.

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

A lot of people's favorite avoiding move due to all the benefits that come with it. This tech allows you to dig through the earth like a mole as you channel your earth chakra around yourself protecting you from the dangerous pressure of being underground. While underground you can sense what is happening on the surface which can help you land a surprise attack because this move gives no signs of the users digging.
