before we can begin, how about we take a walk over to an open forest. While we're walking please tell me what is earth release, what are its strengths and weaknesses and what can earth release be combined with. also please tell me what you think earth is to you and how you would use it in battle ^.^

Earth release is 1 of the basic elemental nature transformations, A user of the earth style could manipulate earth surroundings such as dirt, mud and rock to use as to their benifit.

Doton is strong against suiton because earth naturally contains water or could absorb the water to the point where it becomes muddy and dries up and is weak against lightning release because raiton easily travels through the earth and could break it down.

Earth could be combined with water to create the kekkei genkai wood release, with fire to create lava release and with wind and fire to create the kekkei tota dust release.

I think earth release is great for defences because it could defend against most nature elements such as water, wind and fire.
