As his sensei gives the details for the first technique, Shadou raises his hands and weaves together two hand seals (snake, seal of confrontation). While weaving the hand seals together, Shadou begins to gather his chakra from within, letting the chakra take on the properties of the earth. He focuses on channeling his doton chakra chakra throughout his right arm. Once the chakra is spread throughout his right arm, Shadou begins to manipulate and mold the chakra which suddenly creates a covering of earth around his arm.
Nice jutsu, I’ll keep this technique in mind if I ever need to break through something or perform taijutsu.
Shadou continues to stare at his rock covered arm as his sensei explains the next jutsu he would be learning. After his sensei finishes giving the details for the technique, Shadou’s arm returns to normal so he could perform the hand seals. He nods his head toward his sensei, signaling that he was ready to perform the jutsu. Shadou then raises his hands together and weaves together the several hand seals required (Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird). As the hand seals are being performed, Shadou gathers his doton chakra and channels it throughout his chakra network and into the ground beneath him. He then starts to manipulate his chakra that was released into the earth and manages to create a large hole that lead to a tunnel underground.
