One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Pillars can be used to propel you into the air
2. Pillars can be used to get in the way of oncoming attacks
3. Weapons and defenses can be created to fight and defend with

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. The weapons aren't the strongest (D rank and all)
2. Any rank lightning destroys anything this jutsu creates
3.

How you would use it in battle: I would use this to propel myself into the air. By doing so, I would come down on my opponent from above and strike him down with another jutsu.
How you would counter it: I would use lightning style to destroy weapons and defenses, and as for the pillars propelling somebody, I would attack them while they were in the air and vulnerable.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Good way to avoid being attacked
2. Catches enemy off guard
3. If successful, a winning position is all but guaranteed

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Can get stuck underground
2. Can't see techniques coming that are aimed for the ground such as a Lightning wave being shot at the ground
3. Users with Byakugan can see this coming

How you would use it in battle: I would use this jutsu to gain the upperhand in battle. When this technique is successful, I would most certainly do as the jutsu's name suggests, pull out my blade and make my enemy draw his final breath.
How you would counter it: To counter this jutsu, I would jump in the air while simultaneusly using a wind jutsu to take me higher and keep me up longer. Then, I would use my widest range lightning technique around where I was previously standing, assuming that my opponent would be attempting to pull me under, I can also safely assume that that would be around his location.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. If something happens to your weapon, this can take its place
2. Is good for when your opponent is cloaked in a cloud of dust or smoke, or even mist by launching several spears
3. When broken, you can just make a new one

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Accuracy is decreased the more spears you use
2. Unlike regular weapons, a simple lightning technique would destroy this one
3.

How you would use it in battle: As mentioned, I think this is a good technique for when you know the general area of where your opponent is. I would like to use this technique when they are hidden by smoke, dust, or mist, because a lot of the times they can't see you, either. With a fast barrage of spears come raining down on that area, it would be hard for the opponent to see it coming, much less to evade considering that odds would be on your side with numbers.
How you would counter it: to counter this jutsu, I would shoot a wave of lightning at a barrage of spears, and for one spear used for melee or throwing, I would channel lightning into my sword and cut it down.

One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Can distract your opponent
2.
3.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Doesn't cause much damage
2.
3.

How you would use it in battle: I would use this jutsu to first make my opponent focus on the small rocks, while following up with a stronger technique that is fast to perform so that it would have much more chance to hit them.
How you would counter it: I would counter this technique by using the pillars that I had learned earlier.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Good for trapping
2. Can be used to move your opponent
3.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Can't be used at short range
2.
3.

How you would use it in battle: I would use it to trap my opponent, and ultimately smash them.
How you would counter it: I would use a wind technique to propel myself outside of the sections And follow up with an offensive technique.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
One/three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Can hide from opponent
2. Can make for a good sneak attack
3.

One/three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative):

1. Can get trapped underground
2. Ground can be changed into something else
3.

How you would use it in battle: I would use this jutsu to get out of a sticky situation brought about by a jutsu that would be much to hard to actually defend against, or to produce a good sneak attack.
How you would counter it: I would counter it by changing the earth via Swamp of the Underworld, the jutsu I look forward to most to learning.
