Earth in the narutoverse:
-Earth release is one of the five nature transformations in the narutoverse. It enables the user to control the surrounding earth, using it offensively or defensively. The user has the ability to harden or soften the earth around him/her. Usually by slamming there palms into the earth and transmitting chakra the or by the snake hand seal can utilize earth release or create their own. Earth release is common among the ninjas of Iwagakure.
-Earth is strong against water because the water is consumed by the earth making the attack less effective
-Earth is weak against Lightning because the lightning can travel through the earth and make it crumble.
-Earth and Water release combined creates wood. It is known as the KG Wood Release, only members of the Senju clan can use it.
-Earth and an unknown element combined results in the KG Crystal Release.
-Earth and unknown element results in another KG known as Explosion Release.
-Fire and Earth release combined creates lava. It is known as the KG Lava Release.
-Fire, Wind, and Earth release combined creates dust. It is known as the rare Kekkei tōta Dust Release.

Good, also Earth is strong to water because it's solid, water can't travel through it.
Okay then, lets start! I want you to focus your doton chakra into the ground, and when you think you have enough release it and make a small pillar pop up.
Good Now, Catch that little pillar you just created, and by adding more chakra, manipulate its shape and turn it into a staff. After creating the staff, chuck it somewhere O_O see how far you can throw
Next time, better descriptions man. I expect a lot out of the hidden cloud ninja I teach. I understand tho, not much to describe with D ranks xd

It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

Alright simple, channel your doton chakra into the ground and make it so that its fine sand, this allows you to dig through it like a mole, after you are underground you should be able to recognize that you can sense everything above you, try and find my clone. When you do, i want you to rise your hands up and push him under ground while you push yourself up.

I burrow my way towards your clone and then loosen the dirt around him. Then with my right hand, I grab your clone's feet and pull him under; leaving only his head above ground, I then pull myself up*

*I start by gathering my chakra and then channeling it into the Earth. I concentrate and focus on the chakra I have released into the earth. I concentrate harder, and cause the earth the to start shaking. Cracks start appearing on the earth around us. I channel more chakra,while concentrating and cause the the small tremor to become more stronger. The tremor causes you to lose your balance.thus you fall down.*
