I stomp my foot in the ground and focus my doton chakra into the ground. Once done i'm able to control the way the ground shapes . As a result of this i control the ground shifting and make it raise and come together. Doing this will crush your clone without any warning . In battle i'd use this to catch my opponent off guard, and possible make him cancel some of his justus.

How big are the parts of earth? How might size come into play during battle?

The size of the rocks are about the size of a door. The size will come into play depending on the size of my opponent in some weird cases. And in regular cases it decides how my opponent will have to evade and how it may leaving him open to attacks.

I stand still while i release and flow doton chakra through my legs and feet. I release the chakra through my feet into a widespread area of the ground as i control the properties of the ground making the ground easy to dig through. I then burrow into the ground and wait for you to create your clone ... After you make the clone and had him run somewhere i become one with the ground concentrating on the softened surface . Since the clone is standing on the surface containing my chakra, i feel the pressure of the clones step.

So, I have a few questions.
1. How would you get a clone into the earth to utilize this move without your enemy knowing?
2. How might this move be used in a defensive way?

1) I can preform the justu silently like and mask the ground around us to be alike with the ground in the whole biome . So my opponent couldn't tell the difference.
2)I can preform this when an opponent gets into close range and my vision is impaired. I could sense were he is .

1. How about using a smoke bomb?
2. What about escaping certain moves?

Yeah a smoke bomb would work. Never thought about it. Good training is good . And i'd escape the hidden mist justu with it. It'll allow me to detect my opponent in the mist.

Off topic: You plan on joining a village ?

No, because all the current villages depress me.

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

Alright, next jutsu.
I want you now to begin sending your Earth Chakra throughout the ground. I will place a clone several meters away from you. When your chakra reaches my clone, control the earth around my clone to channel upwards, thus creating spikes around my clone to stab him.

Vergil separates his legs to help his stance. He then runs doton chakra from his core down his legs into his feet. Once done he looks ahead of him at the clone and insert chakra into the ground leading under the clone. He then uses the chakra infused ground under the clone to create a large spear head coming out of the ground to impale the clone. Killing the clone via **** ..

1. How long do you think this move would take to reach an opponent at mid range?
2. How would making more than one spike? How would it change your move?

1) Nothing more than a few seconds.
2)The addition of a few more spikes shouldn't take up more time as simultaneously forming chakra together in one large body is do-able .

Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target

Anyhow, for this next jutsu, I want you to build up a tremendous amount of chakra in your hands. Then, make a fist with both your hands and slam the ground, releasing that built-up chakra to cause a small tremor to flow towards my clone. Like a mini earthquake.
How might you use this? O_O

Vergil rolls up his right sleeve I raises his right hand. He opens and releases chakra through his body and arm into his hand. Once done he condenses all the doton chakra. Next he raises his hand high into the air and slam it into the surface of the earth. Releasing the built up chakra on impact. This causes wildlife and your clone to slightly tremble as if there was an earthquake.

I would use this to cause an opponent to slip up allowing me to easily catch him in an genjustu. Or in other cases force him to cancel his justu that he is undergoing.

Why is this so important, especially in Taijutsu?

Well when your off balance its very hard to keep yourself well defended in taijustu encounters . It can cause you to fall and for obvious reasons it could decide the battle, being off balance will cause you to be wide open for attacks all around. Taijustu or even ninjustu .

 

[Adachi]

Good. Throwing anyone off balance makes them very vulnerable indeed.

For this next one, concentrate your Earth Chakra inwards. This is a bit new as you were dealing with solid things beforehand. Build up your chakra to become sticky (perhaps add a bit of your own spit? Or Water Chakra if you have learned Water before) and spit it at my clone here. Aim it towards his eyes to blind him.
