(Doton: Kajugan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique
Rank: A

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

One of the very unique and famous jutsus. The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely.


(Doton: Keijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person up to ten times lighter then the usual weight. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus. Be very weary of that.


( Doton: Iwarin Heiban ) - Earth Release: Rock Scale Slab

Description: The user will knead their earth chakra into their stomach and then release from their mouth earthly material that then forms into a large slab of rock, that can travel with incredible force. On impact with the ground the slab forces the earth to splinter and jab anyone caught in the vicinity.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. This is a hefty jutsu able to crush and push the opponent back breaking bones and seriously handicapping the opponent. Its main advantage is its raw power. It can also act as a defense blocking attacks and then continue for an attack. It can knock out anything its path and when sent with force acts as a projectile technique. Its straightforward technique and the shape manipulation will take some time.

Perform the technique: I channel my chakra underground and cause a small poll to rise up disconnected from the earth as it fully emerges, to use as a test subject. Forming the snake hand seal i channel doton chakra into my hand channeling it through the pole i created causing its weight to increase. i tip the pole slightly and it topples over creating a loud thud noise.
Creative uses/strengths:
This jutsu has many advantages to it offensive and defensive. One can increase the weight of of an object such as his weapon to deal move force. Alternatively they can increase the weight of his own arm to also deal more damage. If a person is used as a victim they most certainly wont be able to move. This can be used on an opponent weapon leaving it useless.
Drawbacks/counters:
disadvantages include having to make physical contact with an opponent or object which leaves you vulnerable due to the close proximity. The jutsu can be channeled through other parts of the body but only for small time frames. The jutsu also only lasts 2 turns after which itès affects will wear off. if used on onesself speed is sacrificed.


Perform the technique:Channeling doton chakra through my body i decrease the weight of my body. This makes me alot faster due to having less mass, using this new found speed i race around the are at extreme speeds and jumping in the air allowing a higher lift.
Creative uses/strengths:
just like the other jutsu this one is pretty diverse. Can be used on oneself to elevate ones speed. Can also be used on weapons to make them faster and can slow make items or objects lighter to allow oneself to move them easier or carry them with much less effort. can be used on an opponent to make them lighter and move them with say a fuuton attack.
Drawbacks/counters:
if you make yourself lighter you are much more susceptible to being thrown around and colliding with the environment. The affect only lasts 2 turns and also damage is considerably less. you have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus.


Perform the technique: kneading doton chakra in my stomach i spew it out of my mouth into the ground and channel my chakra into it forming it into a giant slab which rises from the ground. I launch it forward in a straight line watch it fly across the ground like a project where it finally collides with the ground cause splintering.
Creative uses/strengths:
The jutsu does not require any hand-seals and continues upto mid range. The blunt force damage form this jutsu is high and can easily crush bones. This attack can also serve as a defense that carries on after wards to counter attack serving a 2 in 1 purpose. upon impact with the ground it causes splintering and that can jab opponent further damaging them.
Drawbacks/counters:
The shape manipulation takes some time which can leave you vulnerable. it cannot reach an opponents at long range and can still be destroyed by stronger attacks. it may also restrict vision of block is too big. and if used as a defence it doesn't protect from all sides which still leaves you possibly open.

(Doton: Daichidokaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

This is the stronger version of the previous A-Rank counter part. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 100 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground and sending a large scale attack. Also a note is that anyone in the ground that is under control they will obviously lose their balance due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (8-10s) depending just how high you set it. 100 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.


(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake will create a large dragon of earth erupt from the ground and direct it towards the enemy with devastating force. This technique much resembles the Water Release: Water Dragon technique.

Another very handy and a personal favorite. After doing the required hand seals the user will summon a large dragon made of complete stone and earth. The summoning of the dragon is very fast and what makes this jutsu so handy is basically the brute force the dragon contains and its sheer size. The dragon is summoned close range but it has a long range reach. You can ride the dragon and what makes it awesome is how you can really catch and save yourself from tough situations with the dragon, if you are in a tight situation you can summon the dragon and rise below you and use the momentum to launch yourself in the sky to evade certain attacks. It can also act as a barrier around you to protect from certain attacks. A normal problem is you must keep control of the dragon whenever you are using it. Ways to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to make it remain its distance from you or attack the bottom of the dragon using a swamp to restrict its movement.


(Doton: Chokeijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Ultra Light-Weight Rock Technique

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The stronger version of the previous A-Rank jutsu. The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person down to virtually no weight at all. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to the fact you have no mass whatsoever you have no impact on your punches or impact attacks.

Perform the technique: Channeling my chakra underground i manipulate the earth terrain present and cause it to lower rapidly for about 50 meters with great speed, before continuing my chakra control and manipulating the terrain to raise 75 meters with great speed, the area of the land being moved is vast.
Creative uses/strengths:
Strenghts include being able to pin your opponent to the ground while ahving them sent to a higher level. You can also cause them to lose footing while at the same time lowering them making them lose sight of you and possibly allow for surprise attacks. Other than this the large scale of the attack means that the opponent will most likely be affected in some way.
Drawbacks/counters:

The main one being the large chakra drain means you can only use it twice in a battle. the jutsu also can end up affecting you if you do not act cautiously and the jutsu also would affect you in close proximity, where it's use is almost nulled. Doesnt affect and arial opponent directly and also it takes some time for the full range to be completed.



Perform the technique: i perform a secuence of handseals channeling my chakra underground and manipulating and bringing stone and earth together to form a dragon released from the earth short range form me. I make this dragon carry on formward as if it were assaulting before causing it to crash back into the earth demonstrating it massive force.
Creative uses/strengths:

This jutsu has a long reach allowing one to make use of it almost anywhere in terms of distance the stone dragon can serve as a powerful defence making a cover for the user or moveing him out of the way. The dragon can also be ridden if needed and has massive stricking force easily being able to crush bones. Lastly the dragon can be controlled allowing for more tech room.
Drawbacks/counters:
The jutsu has to be controlled constantly you cannot stop focusing on it and use another jutsu while keeping control. The tech also is hard to use while engaged in QCQ as the hand seals would be cumbersome and timeconsuming. The dragon can be stopped by large scale earth attacks and defenses.



Perform the technique:I walk up to sempai crab his back and channel my chakra into his body using my doton nature to manipulate him making his bodyweight drop to almost zero quite fast as he is a small person not muscular like me. As his weight hits close to zero i push him forward with relative ease and watch him fly forward helplessly.
Creative uses/strengths:
I can decrease the weight of a person making them lighter or even myself allowing for more speed. If used on a object it would become easier to lift. an obstacle unable to mvoe previously would be light enough to get out of the way. A weapon would be lighter to use and easier to throw.
Drawbacks/counters:
Lack of mass is the main prblem you can easily be blown back or pushed away. THis can be harmful as you would get hurt via terrain and such. A;lso a bigger object that is mostly the reason your using this tech would take longer to make lighter. If used on your opponent to make them lighter they gain speed aswell. The jutsu only lasts 2 turns.

I recommend really watching out for this technique.

Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

Jutsu is different then most earth jutsus. The user by slamming their hands on the ground will manipulate it in a way where they rise a large volcano. The volcano will thrust up anything that is under ground. This is great to know if you figure an opponent is underground this is a great jutsu to use which propel them airborne and you can attack. This includes also certain summonings and whatever type of objects. Its a handy jutsu at time, though is under used. Note you can not use this jutsu close range from yourself due to the size of the volcano.


(Doton: Yama Eikyo) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash

Description: The user will do 3 handseals (Tiger → Ram → Rat) and slam his hands on the ground which creates two enormous rock formations that close in on the opponent from two opposing sides with tremendous force, smashing everything caught in between. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.
Note: Can only be used twice

This is earth releases most powerful attack from the whole canon list. The user after performing 3 hand seals, the user will summon an extremely large rock formation on each flanks of the opponent. Right when they fully rise they act to come together with brute force crushing everything that is caught between it. The size is so large it makes the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path look small. Due to its large status your only able to us it twice per battle. This is great to use as a finisher from combos as well as distract the opponent, scaring them with its size. Though you must remain concentrated during the time to make them come together, if you don't the rock formations will just stay in place. During the time they rise from the ground, the ground will shake heavily making movement tough on the opponent as well. Despite the fact of all it gives their are many drawbacks. One being is this is a loud and large jutsu. Making it easy to anticipate it and what to do. Also you can only do this jutsu mid-long range restricting its mobility. Ways to counter this is stopping the opponents concentration towards it, sending a wide ranged attack. Using a high ranked and long range lightning jutsu to negate the chakra in the doton. Just some ideas. Its a great jutsu if used correctly.

Perform the technique:
I take out my sword, and channel my doton chara into the sword causing the sword to become super heavy. The weight of the sword is so much that i can no longer hold it. The sword drops to the ground with a large thud letting off dust as a testiment to it's force and weight.
Creative uses/strengths:
This jutsu has many advantages to it offensive and defensive. One can increase the weight of of an object such as his weapon to deal move force. This can be used on an opponent weapon leaving it useless. 100 times the weight increase is a very large amount an makes this tech very useful

Perform the technique: Slamming my hands underground, i cause the earth present beneath an area to rise up. As they thrust up from the earth they cause a volcano like structure to appear and erupt the material out of the ground. Launching the debris airborne.
Creative uses/strengths:
The is a great technique in my opinion with someone who is underground being caught off gaurd and being launched in the air, pummeled by debris and being left open. The tech can also be used if an opponent has lost their footing or on the ground they would likely have a hard time defending and take lot's of damage. Also as a long range tech it can attack almost anywhere on the map
Drawbacks/counters: You cannot use while in short range or you could hurt/ kill yourself with the eruption. An attentive opponent wont sit by as the ground beneath them is moving shaking and begins to erupt, so it requires some sort of destraction to be effective. On top of that the geograpical chanes will also affect you post jutsu.




Perform the technique: Performing 3 handseals i channel my chakra inderneath the earth mid range form my location about 2 degres south. I manipulate the earth on both side of the determined area to rise up as two extremely large slabs of earth which come together one they have fully risen. The two slabs coming together and smashing into each other causes a huge sound and would crush anything inbetween.
Creative uses/strengths:
A very large summon that might be problematic to you can be easily taken out by this jutsu. The jutsu extends upto long range allowing one to strike almost anywhere witihn the map. Lastly the jutsu is the strongest earth just and possibly the greatest among the entire cannon basic 5.

Drawbacks/counters: a drawback includes having to use from mid range atleast. The jutsu requires so much chakra it can only be used twice a battle. Other than this the amount of time it takes for the rocks to rise will give time for an opponent to flee or dodge / counter.

(Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

A great armor jutsu. The user will be able to forcefully surge rocks from any part or their whole body and cover themselves in rock. This is great to defend specific body parts as well as be used for full body surges in genjutsu. You can use the armor to have a much longer reach with huge power behind it. A large set back is you move very slow with the jutsu restricting your movement, jumping is impossible as well. The user can extend weapons from their arms as rocks which is great to have for an extra arsenal. The user can only mold doton chakra while having the armor off.


(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique

Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

The user without the needs of hand seals will summon a very large golem which can extend up to 30 meters in height. It has great brute strength as well as be quite agile despite its large stature. The Golem is manipulated through your chakra control meaning you must remain concentrated towards it no matter what if you want to use it. By doing this he must keep his hands together. The golem is summoned close range but has a long range reach. The golem is great to get you out of tough situations. It can act as a barrier and attack as well being a mobile tech.

Perform the technique: I channel my chakra all throiughout my body, manipulating my chakra into rocks that appear to surge from my body. THe rocks grow forward and act as a defence around my body. The heavy rocks can block a decent attack but i notice i am alot heavier.
Creative uses/strengths:
This technique would mainly be used as a defence as an oncomming enemy possibly uses taijutsu at which point i can protude some sharp rocks to deal a counter blow or just have her or him strike me which should do nothing to me while dealing recoil to them The armour gives me large amount of force behind my attacks (physical) and allows me to break through genjutsu
Drawbacks/counters:
This jutsu only affects the user and require the enemy to use an attack on them however a lightning attack s rank or above should be able to pierce through especially as the user is very slow while lightning is very fast. The speed of the user is greatly reduced and any jumping action is impossible.






Perform the technique:I slam my hands onto the ground channeling my doton chakra underground manipulating the earth to rise up and take the form of a massive 30 meter tall golem. I can fully control this golem, i make it charge forward keeping my hand on the ground. Then i take my hands off ending the technique.
Creative uses/strengths:
I really like this jutsu it can act as a charging barrier running upto the enemy shortening distance as well as acting as a defence. The golems mighty strenght can take view of me off the opponent and its large arms and power can easily crush them aswell. Ontop of this the golem moves decently fast.
Drawbacks/counters:
The golem although large would take some time to bring up. The golem also requires constant control and as such no other techs can be used. A lightning attack such as false tarkness should be able to pierce and break the golem, or simply making it get stuck in a swamp that cover both the golem and the user at the same time who cant use techs because of the golem.
