(that's fine, I'm off to uni in a couple weeks so my time will probably turn a bit limited too x)
Earth Release (Doton) is one of the 5 basic natural elements and grants the user the ability to manipulate existing or create earth, be it Rock, Mud, dirt or any other form. People with the earth nature affinity as well as being able to move or create earth they are also granted the power to change the density or form of it, being able to turn it to the strength of the hardest metal, or making them soft like clay. Earth is the nature affinity that grants possibly the biggest variety of any of the 5 basic natures as it can be used for transportation, offense, defence or for setting up for the battle ahead.

Earth in comparison to the other natures comes in strong against water as it has a certain absorption power when they connect, It is weak to lightning as it's speed and compact power is easily enough to break the earth.
When used in conjunction to other elements earth can create Wood when fused with water chakra, Lava when fused with fire chakra it is also an elements within the Dust release used by the Tsuchikage, this is used by combining it with both the wind and fire natures.

Now sit down,close your eyes and focus on your chakra.Feel the earth under you and change your chakra by giving it properties of earth(not appearance).By doing so you will feel one with the earth.

Takes a seat on the ground where she stands closes her eyes and sits in a somewhat meditative state. As she uses her feet and backside under her to feel the grounds roughness and strength. Once she feels ready she begins to focus on her chakra flow and starts to try to create the properties that she felt under her inside her chakra. Once she feels comfortable with the flow and new feeling on the chakra she relaxes her mind and feels like she is connected to the ground in both body and spirit.

Moving on to jutsu's

Focus on your chakra,transform it into doton chakra and channel it to the ground below you.Then use this chakra to manipulate the earth below and make pillars of earth rise around me.

I remain seated on the ground to keep in contact. Close my eyes and begin to regain my focus, sensing the earth inside my body I release the feeling into my chakra stream and begin to mold the chakra into earth chakra. When I feel I have absolute focus and when I am ready I place my palm on the ground and release my molded chakra through my palm and into the ground, the resulting effect makes pillars of earth shoot up from the ground around Igneel senpai. I open my eyes slowly in hope and see the pillars I then begin to cheer and fist pump.

(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

Now take this chunk,channel your doton chakra to the rock and use your chakra to manipulate the rock's shape and density,and change its form to that of a staff.

I catch the rock after a bit of a fumble initially. Once under control I hold the rock between both palms and focus my sight on it. As I repeat the process from before, once I have complete concentration I begin to roll the rock between my palms, slowly releasing converted earth chakra into it in or to change the density. Once I believe it is ready I clutch it in once hand and release a burst of chakra into the rock causing it to grow rapidly in my hand and form the shape of a staff which I then hold out horizontally in front of me.

Concentrate Doton chakra into the ground and try to control multiple sections of rocks and move them towards my clone. Once they reach him, try to make them rise from the ground, forming 2 gigantic sections of rock that smash my clone.

I decide to approach this next lesson from a more battle ready stance to get myself used to doing things under normal circumstances, so I stand up and place my palms together moulding the chakra in my body in earth chakra.
I then shoot my body down flattening my right palm against the ground and expelling chakra through my hand into the floor before taking control of many pieces of rock which I determined the positions of before I moulded the chakra, I move the sections of rock toward the clone before stopping them around him. The multiple pieces of rock then form 2 gigantic blocks of earth which smash your clone.

Cover your body with doton chakra and then channel it to the ground below you to make it soft like sand and go underground.You can now travel underground by making the earth close to your body soft like sand.Now when you are underground you can sense the presence of others above the ground,so i want you to find me

I begin by using the previous methods to create Doton chakra, but this time instead of expelling said chakra I keep it within and spread it throughout my chakra network until it has reached all my chakra points. Once a sufficient amount of chakra has reached all my body parts I release it slowly and let it engulf or surround my body before channeling it into the ground below allowing me to slip through the earth below me as if it were soft sand. Once I am fully submerged I begin to look around for sempai's chakra, once I have located it I travel underground to his location and pop up in front of him.

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach.

Feeling more confident in my abilities I quickly slap my hands together and focus my mind on my feet, I then mold the chakra in my feet into Doton chakra and channel it down into the ground allowing me to slip into the earth as if it were soft sand. I then move around under the earth by continuously channeling my chakra into the ground in the direction that I want to move. I locate the clone and shoot my arm up grabbing his ankle and pulling it underground with me before I pop up onto the surface to face Igneel.

Pops up from the ground after pulling Igneel's clone into the ground and instantly drops planting her palms on the ground. The moment she does this the ground around the clone begins to shake before spikes of earth erupt out impaling the clone and making him poof into the air.

Quickly focuses her chakra and sends it down her body concentrating it in her feet. Through which she releases the chakra into the ground in one burst resulting in the floor around them begin to tremor.

Once I've performed these techs here I am free to use them in battles right?
