ok...when it comes to defence, attack and trapping, earth style is the way to go the different ways to defend is to create earth to block, manipulate earth to avoid, like going underground or moving the ground. when it comes to the trapping it's awesome because of the earth can surround enemy not giving them any place to run. since earth is the hardest out of the basic five elements it's the best to defend or trap in my opinion.

earth is weak against lightning because lightning causes the earth to lose it's form while strong against water because it can be absorbed into the earth.

Now sit down,close your eyes and focus on your chakra.Feel the earth under you and change your chakra by giving it properties of earth(not appearance).By doing so you will feel one with the earth.

*by sitting down and meditating on the properties of earth. by feeling the earth below me i use my sense of touch to identify the properties of the earth below me.*

its rough, solid, also made out of small grains of dirt. it's also dry. this is as much as i can observe with my sense of touch.

Moving on to jutsu's

Focus on your chakra,transform it into doton chakra and channel it to the ground below you.Then use this chakra to manipulate the earth below and make pillars of earth rise around me.

*i first gather my chakra before familiarising myself with the feel of earth to change my nature to earth chakra i then focus my chakra to the ground around you and visualise the earth in shape of rectangular pillars. i then cause six pillar to rise around you using chakra control and shape manipulation*

Now take this chunk,channel your doton chakra to the rock and use your chakra to manipulate the rock's shape and density,and change its form to that of a staff.

after catching the rock in my hand i then change my chakra nature to doton chakra and channel it to the rock. using shape manipulation i then cause the rock to reshape into a spear after focusing and visualizing a spear in my hand!

Concentrate Doton chakra into the ground and try to control multiple sections of rocks and move them towards my clone. Once they reach him, try to make them rise from the ground, forming 2 gigantic sections of rock that smash my clone.
