I been watching the Chuunin Exam Arc all day and I forgot how much I loved Dosu. He had so much potential. Imagine that sound jutsu with a chakra nature like Wind Release or Fire Release. He could've had a kickass original summon like Danzo's Baki.

Then Kishi had to have him get punked by Gaara in one panel. Plus his teammates were GARBO.



Also the part where Zaku beat the shit out of Sakura's face was hilarious lmao

Definitely not final villain material. He could of been a major obstacle to overcome in Pt.I, and Pt.II though. That, or he could've become a useful ally, he portrayed honorable traits in his debut, and was seen as rather intelligent. Definitely a good character.

No it was his boy Zaku who honestly had op attacks they all did but kishi screwed them all over the power of sound heck dosu power if he had itachis or minatos speed would be chaotic to deal with

Which was bullshit. Zaku was actually pretty cool too, but he got boned hard by Kishi.

Zaku has supersonic attacks that can f*ck up a whole forest, but the least powerful version of Sasuke yolo'd him and then Genin Shino blew his arms off, when he already nearly blitzed a jonin tier character in Kabuto and slipped every other ninja in the room completely unnoticed.

Some of the worst writing of the series tbh. Why build Orochimaru and his Sound Village characters up just to shit on each of them in one panel? Granted that chick was pretty weak and dead weight, but they just become fodder for Oro to call the Hokage back. Should've used some other fodder for that and let Dosu get stronger and be a mainstay villain.

Dosu was the man! Still mad that Kishi decided to kill him off as some pointless fodder to hype Gaara up, didn't even give the guy a edo tensei which would been good nostalgia. Instead of bringing back Zabuza and Hakus ass even though I got nothing against them but to be honest their characters where already done in their development as characters anyway.
