Hashirama wanted to become hokage at the same time Madara wanted to be hokage

Madara wasn't able to become hokage but hashirama did


Now naruto would most likely be hokage and sasuke won't

When madara was denied of being hokage he wanted to kill hashirama​

Now when sasuke get denied he will want to kill naruto and they will have endless battle like hashirama and madara had

Do you guys remember this?

Kishimoto definitely plays his story through parallelism templates. Hell, even the Hokage under the control of Orochimaru sealing the Jubi was a parallel, though the first similar instance was 400 chapters in the past (Sound Four under the control of Orochimaru seal Hokage).

If Kishimoto wants to make a plot device without drawing from parallels, now would be the perfect time.

maybe in the future! but kishi usually shows us what happened in the past TO PREVENT a repeat of the same act in the future! i think madara will set himself free from edo tensei after witnessing sasukes's resolve for the leaf... Because they are different like it or not! hashi explained the past to sasuke for a reason !!!! but sasuke is still stubborn and its not like he doesnt know the village hates him!

Very true, Sasuke might decide to get rid of a possible threat to the Hokage spot soon; That's if his new goal is this important to him/His bond with Naruto is still cut.
