My friend (Just started reading Manga) read the Sasuke vs Itachi Chapter.
He told my other friend, "Him and his brother got into a fight and Sasuke kicked his ass."
...After I sat there and told him Itachi let Sasuke win.
I was about to take the book, burn it, and smack him upside the head with it when he said that.

Well, shonen is normally aimed for boys, so there are girls who are more for the shojo and yaoi stories than for shonen ... Nothing abnormal by that. I have the luck that my best friend who I finally convinced to read manga, likes Naruto and Kuroshitsuji

OT: Well, you'll always have people who think they'll know it better even if they don't *shrugs* Nothing much you can do about it. You could try to explain to your friend how it really happened, but well, if your friend is stubborn, chances are big he won't listen to you
