If Kishi really wanted him to die, it would have happened in the same chapter. There are still some things that needs to be cleared concerning his character like the reasons why controlled Yagura, why he killed Uchiha clan,

His character development was probably the most important during entire shippuden(even more than Naruto the main character) since Kakashi gaiden. Unless Kishi really wants to rush things, there is no way he should die right now, or there would remain too much plot holes concerning his character. It would make no sense whatever i think

Reason why i believe Obito won't die are the followings:

So i think like stated on above panels that Kakashi and Obito would fight together. It would even be ironic since it's Madara who talked about it first to Obito, so he may realise it back-fired at him

So as stated above, it would really make no sense if Obito were to die right now, but if it happens, then Naruto will probably have one of the worse manga development i've ever seen since i started reading mangas

If Obito won't die then what purpose will he server by surviving now. He list his 6 paths/jinichurikis, unable to use rinnegan powers, lost to Kakashi, struggled against Naruto & Company, almost at the verge of death. On the top of that now betrayed by Madara too.

Its better for him to apologize to Kakashi and die now.
