Question says it. A complete user made timeline, which expands over all the events throughout Naruto, allowing readers easier to make theories, and put past happenings into some sort of 'time frame'. I know other forums got timelines, but IMO most are either incomplete or rarely updated. If someone were to start on a timeline (for instance me), it would be extremely hard to compile everything in it alone, and every contribution with valid "proofs" would be added / changed in the timeline.
Anyway if you think it would be awesome with a timeline made with contributions from many naruto fans, when would you want to make it start?
I mean you can always say before Narutos birth and after Narutos birth, and work down through the years. I think that is how the timeline on Naruto wiki is, but it doesn't consist of many details, so it's rather incomplete.
You could put Narutos birth as something like 'year 1000' since the so6p was said to have lived many centuries ago. Thus it's probably not more than a millennium ago. So it would make most happenings go from 900-1017 (present), and still allow the positioning of for instance the birth of Fukusaka (and his wife I guess).
Or do you have any better ideas, I would love to hear them
Of course I would not write all the evidence in the actual time line, but I would keep notations for myself, and could put them in the end in a spoiler tag or something, or could just let people disprove it. Of course a lot of 'ages', will have a large insecurity, meaning we simply do not have any good proof, so it would all depend on a qualified 'guess', depending on some events/happenings.
For instance I would assume that Madara and Hashirama are of the same age, and that Tobirama and Izuna are of the same age, and with 5 years difference. But how old was Hashirama and Madara, when they founded Konoha? Such things would have to be made from mere guessing depending on the few drawings Kishi made of it.
Well this is something I have thought about a lot lately, and I got all the databook translations ready for it, so it would be rather fast. But I also want 'special' happenings compiled it in. Like the uchiha massacre, obitos attack on konoha, the 3 great wars, etc.
