dont understand why people say naruto is all power and no skill or smarts

maybe im worng but wasnt it stated that rasengan alone was a very hard jutsu for anyone to accomplish and maybe naruto learned it in his own stupid way but he still learned it when apparently only a few genius shinobi could, not to mention what kurama said about him giving chakra to everyone, he picked that up and surpassed minato in it all during a fight against obito madara and the tentails, also he was the only one to know obito was trying to become the host of the ten tails granted he saw the signs for rinne tensei before its still a feat no one else figured out.. naruto wouldnt have the power he has if it wasnt for the skills and potential he has.

That is true... It happens more often than not. I agree with what Sasuke said on the last issue, honestly.
Naruto needs to calm down. A proof that he doesn't think before acting is that Kurama doesn't stop him. If he was thinking, Kurama would be able to voice his opinion.
Naruto is the guy that should, by definition, know that you should analyze a situation with disposable things first. He's the master of Kage Bunshin, is he not?
Naruto is right though, they can't afford to lose those Edo. The Juubi is after the living, after all. The kages are being reckless with their bodies and it'll cost lives.

Naruto's intelligence is a plot device. When some aspect of the Naruto world, like chakra or elemental affinities or the Kage Bunshin, needs to be explained Naruto is made an idiot so that it can be revealed to the readers. But when Naruto faces an obstacle he has to overcome on his own, he's suddenly intuitive and keen to picking up small details others miss.
