Well, thanks to Guy saving Kakashi. Madara got hit like 2-3 times against Guy when he opened the 7th Gate. Look how fast and how powerful he opened 8th Gate? If Madara used Limbo, then Guy would just killed it, because his punch and kick is so strong that it can rip anything in part, and not to mentioned Night Month as well.
However, I agree that Minato and Kakashi did help Guy, but didn't we saw Guy used footspeed in the air? I could be wrong, even though those Gudodama won't kill someone like 8th Guy though, because he saved and blocked those Gudodamas while he saved Kakashi with 5th or 6th Gate opening.

There's a difference between enjoying a fight and enjoying pain.

Madara is the former, he's not a specific masochist where he just enjoys pain for pain's sake. It has to come from a worthy opponent.

Just look at Hashi's clones, he was bored to death with them, and he could have let them hurt him too.
