Don't Stereotype or Generalize Us

Assumptions are ignorant as are the people who make them.....I'm making this thread because lately I've seen a large amount of threads/posts that are assuming various things about the people of Naruto Base.....Such as but not limited to "Everyone on NB is a virgin" "Everyone on this site is a loser" "Why are there so many no life's?" Now I take personal offense to this because it's wrong to assume things about people you don't know....Whereas their may be some people who fits those labels however we all don't....But to stereotype people who like Anime and Manga is wrong, to stereotype in general is wrong and all I'm saying is try to generalize less because people are individuals are none of us are the same.....We're here to read/watch Naruto not be bashed for liking it......

Many people think there are only stereotypes.
Just let them hate and say things you might find offending. Those people vent their frustration or anger by posting offending messages and such, just because they can't do that in real life. Just think of them as sad beings, and move on. It helps

I am making a thread because that's what the basis of a forum is, to voice one's opinions and to have various people reflect on that opinion.....This is just for the Base I mean the fact of the matter is that we instinctively stereotype and generalize throughout our day to day lives, missing out on great people because of our preconceived assumptions.....I get people like to joke around on here that's fine....I'm just saying for the sake of people who just come by to read/watch Naruto (Like me) I rather see a thread about something serious rather then read one that says I'm gay, etc.

Well I'm the complete opposite I understand the fact that many people don't have anyone who cares, they believe that they're voice/opinion is irrelevant and it's people who bash them on forums like this that instill that into their lives........I care because I remember being an individual like that before I met great people who cared.....So I try to epitomize that in everything I do, Including NarutoBase

No offence, but that happens on forums, and if you can't deal with it you shouldn't be here. Since the internet is quite anonymous many people just vent there anger on here by saying things people might find offending. But you shouldn't care so much about what others tell you. Even if they call you gay or so you shouldn't consider it that offending because those people don't know you.

Not caring for what other people say isn't the same as believing your opinion is irrelevant. The thing is that you only feel like shit if you take everything personal that is been said on a forum. I could call you whatever I want, but I don't know you so I can't have an opinion like that. They don't either. Just keep that in mind.

Don't take this thread out of context everyone, though I am talking about the various things all over this forum this thread is intended for people to take a look at the stereotypes they experience and the ones that they instinctively have in their lives, and trying to have people understand that everyone has them but our world, and our lives would experience a lot more happiness if we toned those stereotypes down......Plus I'm not on this forum to argue with people about their opinions, everyones intitled their opinion and if I were to just comment on his thread it probably would of started a bashing fest and I wanted to avoid that
