- Develope the same Susanoo he used in VOTE2 that was on par with Naruto's Senjutsu enhanced avatar.

- Develope his Rinnengan to being able to open portals to Kaguya Dimensions.

- Develope Ameno to a level where he doesn't need to look at objects he chose to switch to.

- Develope the combination of combining Amaterasu and chidori to he possibility of creating a new element..

- added clones to his Arsenal for more versatility..


- Naruto gain the other half of Kurama... But that's more of gaining chakra then adding skill..


With all this growth, Kishi still say Naruto and Sasuke are equal.. If that's true, Sasuke had a lot of catching up to do at VOTE2.. Something isn't adding up. Thoughts??

Sasuke has a plethora of abilities to harm naruto and evade his attacks. Naruto has the body to dodge Sasuke's and take on some of sasuke's attacks head on. Naruto just has more chakra than Sasuke. Actually Baruto just had a stronger will to win. After the titanic explosion from Indra's arrow and that double bijuudama and senjutsu enhanced rasenshurikens Sasuke survived but Naruto nearly drowned until he rememberwd what he was fighting for. It cane down to who had a stronger will to win although some scenes made no sense. Sasuke's eyes weakened at the exact moment he was going to chidori Naruto then about 2-3 panels later he's using rinnegan again no problem. It wasn't a battle of strength as fans like to point out. It was a battle of wills, literally. The only thing keeping them going was pure will power

But this also doesn't make sense, Sasuke shouldn't be able to match RSM naruto physically with strength/speed outside of using susanoo. Naruto has the body of the sage, So his physical capabilities should surpass sasuke's as it was in the VOTE 2/Kaguya fight.

While sasuke makes up for what he lacks physically with the sages Dojutsu/power chakra such as Rinnegan jutsu's, S/T jutsu, Susanoo, powerful chakra and so on.

Sasuke would never catch to Naruto no matter what he does. I agree with OP though, Kishi should not have said Sasuke and Naruto are equal in power just to do fanservice to Sasuke fans. Because of that look at the kind of threads we're getting even after 2 years the manga has ended.

Having more Chakra doesnt make you stronger, Naruto still had no Genjutsu counter(And Kurama can't break Rinnegan Genjutsu) so technically the fight should have ended in a glance, and no counter for Chibaku since their isnt an orb to destroy or any known Counter for Sasuke's version.

An chakra exhausted Naruto who had an unknown amount of energy drained from him. Sasuke's shown that opening a portal to different dimensions doesn't take away his abilities right away as seen in the manga and the movie. Even then, it's not all that surprising that Sasuke can use his chakra to enhanced his physical power given his level of chakra control.

That was before Naruto's power increased further by gaining Hashirama's cells and Kurama's full power. I'm not so sure that Sasuke's Susanoo would be its equal now.

Is it really all that surprising that Sasuke was behind Naruto in power?

He acknowledged that BSM was above him before him and Naruto received Hagoromo's power. Obviously, that means that Naruto was still above him in overall powerpost power up , all you'd need to do is look at their performance against Kaguya.

Naruto could clash against her briefly. Sasuke's Susanoo gets destroyed easily.

Naruto resisted her hold on him whereas Sasuke couldn't.

Kaguya/Black Zetsu acknowledging themselves that they didn't know how to deal with Naruto.

Naruto plowed through the chakra hands that destroyed Sasuke's Susanoo with no problem.

Sasuke couldn't hit an chakra exhausted Kaguya whereas Naruto could blitz her.

With all of the above being stated and shown in the series, it's reasonable why Sasuke needed to catch up with Naruto's power, which he did by adulthood
