The fact that Naruto will last longer doesn't mean that the war arc isn't the last one , imo if you think about it Kishi said that it will last for about a year and a half or more so let's say it'll last for 2 more years ok now let's count:
A year has 52 weeks which means 2 years have 104 weeks (1week=1chapter) so if we take off the new year's holidays and the golden week in Japan and some random holidays that Kishi takes from time to time ,we'll have about 98 chapters left , now Kishi also said in the interview that there's still a lot of surprises in the story and he's planning to write more about kakashi which leads me to think that jiraya might be revived and we'll probaly get to see the so6p in this war somehow.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that this war is not nearing its end anytime soon , besides the things that i've just mentioned we still have to see tobi's identity I can imagine it with a lot of flashbacks (5ochapters of flashbacks lol jk) and after that the long fight against naruto and k11 probably , without forgetting the people whom sasuke will meet and what they'll tell him ,we also have orochimaru I doubt that he'll disappear easily after being revived again ,an immortal madara he needs a really strong opponent to be defeated.
And of course finally we'll have sasuke vs naruto fight which will last about 30 chapters or more , and after the war is over we'll have about 3 or 4 chapters just to see how naruto will become hokage and stuff like that.(if he'll become )
My POINT is : for people who're saying that there will be another arc after the war or a spin off ,sorry but no ,another arc after the war doesn't make any sense for me , I think that the things that I've just mentioned can happen in 2 years or more if there will be another arc after the war then naruto will end after 3 or 4 years from now.
