People forget Obito is just a brainwashed pawn in the schemes of others. We have more true 'villains' on the board in Madara and Orochimaru.

I never expected Obito to go out with a bang, he's far too conflicted. Generally speaking Madara and Orochimaru are absolutely sure of themselves and my hope for this manga has lied with them for a long time, I'm glad this Obito part is finally nearing it's end and we can finally get down to business.

If however he ruins Orochimaru and Madara for me I will pile up my Naruto manga and set fire to the lot of it. =D

I have a feeling Orochimarus 'trump card' is a gamble on Sasuke's desire for power...

As for Madara, I have absolutely no idea what it could be and look forward to finding out... Madara really intrigues me as a character...

Eh, I thought he was a good symbol Naruto's growth, but not overly interesting, he's basically the same person as Naruto that takes a polar opposite path through life (the lonely everyone sucks path).

If this is his end I think it's done right, Naruto standing with the help of his friends and Obito fallen, with no one, kinda fits the theme of the manga.

I just don't think he's a particularly interesting ... antagonist ... as it were, kinda predictable, ya'know?
