Part 2 is ending yes, we have known this for a loooong time now, so i don't get why people are getting their panties in a bunch?!? I even made a thread predicting it would end at chapter 700 a long time ago.

And second, NARUTO IS NOT ENDING, no way in hell is Kishi and Viz Media killing this huge cash cow. One of two things will happen. Either a new anime series will be made (anime only, Kishi is done drawing) Or a hiatus and part 3 starts from 2015 (anime only).
Kishi will probably go over in a creative consultant position, much like Hideo Kojima did after he got tired with MGS.
So expect to have Naruto in some kind of form or another for years and years to come. I wont be watching, but the next generation wll have something to watch. Ergo the whole buildup of "the last movie" targeting the next generation.

Eh, I hope it's over with the movie and everything's wrapped up.
He still has his manga, "Mario", which he will focus upon entirely. He can make money with it. It's gonna be seinen apparently. Only a one-shot has been published last year, which will be made into a proper story imo.

When Madara died, it was like the series already ended. Every one of my favorite characters were dead at that point, so it was only a matter of time before the manga would end all together.

I'm not too sad though.
